Where do I even begin

So it's the beginning of September, I'm watching the One Piece live action show on Netflix as is everyone and I'm digging everything, the characters, the visuals, the fights, the emotions. I had just come out from finishing the arc with Crocodile in the anime so I know what's to come. Im drawing all the anime fanarts I was asked to do when i really wanna just do a One Piece related drawing. For a while I wanted to draw Iñaki as Luffy in my style but I think everyone was doing that at that point so I wanted to draw a character from the next season. Meanwhile I was also doing 3 commission, those being "Feet in Heat ft. Morcillón", "Double Stuffed 2: More Stuff Edition", and "Sensuality in Celibacy". The latter one being a commission by Ruby or "Charity Goblin Ruby". When I was looking up fan-castings for certain characters I saw Jamie's name pop regarding her interest in Kureha and I was like? Oh? I didn't know that (I had completly forgotten Ruby is a One Piece mega fan). I asked Ruby if it would be weird to draw her mom to which she said "Please please please" I took my time with it since I had also started a new job so when I finished and i was multitasking on so many projects, but when I had posted it and sent it to Ruby about a few weeks later she simply just says "I sent it to her". I got REALLY nervous after that

But holy SHIT. Not even an hour later and I just start getting so many calls and texts from my friends telling me to check Facebook and Instagram. Something I didn;t account for was the fact that Jamie had now talked about One Piece in over a year so when she dropped that pic, and used it to announce her wanting to lobby for Kureha after the Sag Aftra strikes, that post became INSANELY VIRAL. I was at a meeting at my job when all of the sudden my drawing is on 3 mayor news articles (and then I think it capped at like 7-9 articles) and I'm NERVOUS AF My parents called me to express the joy of what happened. The biggest take away from this is ALWAYS SIGN YOUR WORK. I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO ADD THE WATERMARK TO THIS DRAWING BUT EVERYONE OF MY FRIENDS DID THEIR BEST TO "@" ME WHEREVER THEY COULD. Me and my girlfriend contacted all the mayor news articles and only Screen Rant responded and they properly tagged my account twice in their article They were very generous about it and they had thanked me for sending them the e-mails so not sponsoring Screen Rant but THANK YOU! Obviously I thanked Ruby as well for sending her mom the pic right after, I couldn't be happier for her being excited for the drawing and also her tagging me wherever she saw the drawing. I genuinely cannot express the joy over all the amount of support everyone has given me over the years and it's definitely something I don't take for granted.

Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Matt Owens, and One Piece fans saw the drawing and were so excited for that possibility, seeing Matt Owens specifically comment on her post securing her the job is what to me made me go like "Oh fuck did I start something?" Naaah Even he said that Kureha was written in season 2 with Jamie in mind, so maybe I'm not as influential as some of my friends want to believe, but I still am thankful that my art reached the mainstream audience for a short while. Im privileged for experiencing everything that happened during that whole week. Also don't think I'm rich or famous btw i still earn 11 an hour Gotta keep grinding Chapter 2 is on it's way!
