I'm not really using any of these characters anymore, so they are just frozen in the past for now, without their story progressing. Often I end up making completely new characters for new times instead of developing the same ones. That's more how real people develop anyway, no one is really the same as the one they were many years in the past. But a character is like a frozen snapshot in time, unless you constantly develop them.
