I have no idea what category to put this under! But I wanted to share with you guys two things from my wedding.
My wedding cake, as designed by me. It did not come out exactly as I had planned but I am still very pleased with it. There are toy sea creatures all around it, hidden within the waves. Everything but the figures can be eaten, even the ship! It was the most awesome cake I had ever tasted.
Why a ship? I wanted to get married on a pirate ship... cause that would have been awesome... but it was not within our budget, and we couldnt very well ask the majority of our friends to fly three states over, seeing as most of them have kids. So I got my pirate ship on my cake. Im happy with that.

We are saving the ship for the traditional one year mark. You are suppose to save some of the cake, freeze it and eat it a year later. The ship was actually a different kind of cake then the sea, and I am kinda wishing now that I had taken a bite out of it... Not so sure it will be as good in a year no matter how tightly we packed it.
