Where they live is a typical Northeast American climate so they do get cool and crisp autumn days. The thing is, they can withstand the cold just like any animal could on earth. Skunks don’t suddenly die off being naked outside, they have fur. Same with horses. Dragons that live in northern climates tend to have a lot of body fat to keep them warm like a seal or walrus.
