I made this song a while ago. I was thinking about the events in my life that were happening at the time. I was moving from one state to another to be with my Partner. Things weren't the easiest, but it was a new beginning for me.
Program: Fl Studio 21
Vocals:
"I was missing my home state
I was dreaming of home
There are things that I realized
I want to share those with you
(to share those with you)
I want to share those with you
Sometimes our dreams aren't meant to shine
Where we are
Sometimes our journey has to take us
Somewhere far
Sometimes our mistakes can lead us to
Open doors
Sometimes a last chance doesn't mean that
There's not one more"
Things may seem tough where we are, but it's only a chapter in our lives. Look forwards to the future and the possibilities that it'd bring.
This was going to be my original submission to the express yourself contest a while back, but I went with something else since I ended up uploading this track elsewhere.

And here I sometimes think about what's going on in the Middle East and just really wonder, "Why not love one another and not have any war anymore?" Seems like every 5 to 10 years there's something going on in the Middle East, and this is why I sometimes play "Give Peace A Chance" by John Lennon on some of my DJ shows that I put on in Second Life.
