Hate going through art dry spell. I've been stuck in one the past couple of months, but I'm still poking at things here and there. Haven't done as much with these taurs this year, but I'm still poking at character ideas and concepts for them.
The unicorn Winter Gale here was one of Princess Moonstone's guards. Quite possibly the last one as far as she knows. She's trying out how her armor was modified to fit the new situation. The dragon, Coaldust, isn't sure if all this stuff is of any use. Maybe for soft skinned ponies, but they've got dragon scales now. Wasn't that the point? She does have to admit the hits do sting a little less than before.

And I absolutely love the armor details. Really well placed and thought out for such an unorthodox body type.
