UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH...
As many of you know, I hate photos. Also, our dog will NOT stay still for a selfie without, I don't know, a tranquilizer?
So, here's this. We've never actually tried sledding with Harper, but I can see it going basically like this. Everything clicked when I decided he should be galloping...he has massive hindquarters and uses a low squatting gait to maximize that power, and it's difficult to draw that pose looking cute.
Hopefully you get the style homage... I've apparently never actually tried it before so it was REALLY difficult--especially the brush techniques. But I was determined to pull it off, since it's one of the big three influences on my art style.
