Sworn Oath and Bloody Curse
I've been working at this one inbetween things for a little while now. I finished it this afternoon, after a bit of stress with stuff here at home.
This is Malacath, Daedric Prince of Orcs, outsiders, and battle. He used to be a divine being, but was eaten by the Daedric Prince, Boethia, and was transformed from the beautiful Trinimac into the 'ugly' Malacath. The title comes from his own: "Malacath, the Daedric prince whose sphere is the patronage of the spurned and ostracized, the keeper of the Sworn Oath, and the Bloody Curse."
Hope ya'll like it. I'll be posting some commissions soon (hopefully, this weekend).

Does he give hugs? He looks like the type who'd be willing to give hugs.
On an unrelated note; I can't wait for Skyrim. I didn't play much of oblivion, sadly. I did spend a few lockins at the local lan center, giving it a few tries, but I was never brave enough to shell out the cash to get it for myself. I plan on buying Skyrim, though.

I was gifted most of the TES games around Christmas or my birthdays the last few years--my family members know I'm a super geek/scholar when it comes to Elder Scrolls stuff. I could go on and on for hours, but I won't.
Skyrim looks pretty awesome. As I understand, they've streamlined a lot of the systems, and done away with classes, so you just get every skill in the game, to level as you see fit. In my opinion, this is awesome. I love that idea--it's more true to real life skills.
Oh, and . . . I'm not entirely sure Malacath would give hugs. I know; he's big, he's loud, and he's not popular at parties. XP

That was a half joke, and I was going to say I've been really enjoying a lot of your recent art.
And by recent art, I mean stuff done in the past recent weeks in which I've begun to start playing around on this site again.
I'm still trying to catch up with all the art's I've missed. D:

Oh, I've been nerding over it since the trailer came out. In fact, the trailer had me pulling out the older Elder Scrolls games (like Daggerfall) to curb my TES cravings. It looks wonderful.
For me, Morrowind is the best as far as story goes, but I love all of them so much!
Hurr hurr. That's me geeking out again, though.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this. I spent weeks on the sketch (I'm still not happy with his left leg, but by the time inspiration struck to color it, it was too late to go back! Mwa ha ha!) Really happy with everything else though.
As always, I hold your opinion in high regard.
Again, thanks--and you'll have to let me know when you get TES V! We'll share nerd stories. XP

It's a *beautifully* done piece! :) I think the reason you're not happy with it is because you don't see enough of the leg for your mind to 'fill in the gaps' properly perhaps..?
Oh you can geek out as much as you want, I'm totally there with you. ;)
Pshh, high regard? I'm a High Derptard. :P When does TES V come out anyways??

I hold you opinion in high regard, because it seems each time that we have longer words than just a few sentences, I find a lot in common with you. XP So, I suppose when you tell me something is good,I feel I should believe you because, from what I can gather, we're fairly like-minded. As the gaelic quote goes, "A friend is a good mirror of your own values." (Something like that.)

Awww, bless, you're very sweet. :) I tend to be very very honest (sometimes I'm too honest, I'm quite naive), and everyone is special and deserves to hear it. I very much like that quote. :)
BTW, have you played Dragon Age II yet? I am so swooning over Varric....
