I've started using 3d more effectively in my projects for backgrounds, it's improved the overall experience noticeably, but still requires a lot of tweaking and hand drawing even for bg (The character is 95% redrawn anyway, I can only use 3d for the character as a base for kitbash textures in some places and as a lighting reference, for me 3d dummies are too inflexible to use them in their original state)

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you like my work. I worked closely with the commissioner to create a modern look, but with a touch of that very "pin-up art". PAmbrose99 gave me some moodboards for this and we found a touch.
Speaking of the airplane: my fiancé (currently an aeronautical engineer) really wanted to get involved and gave a couple of tips to the customer on how to make the aircraft more true, so there might be a new modification of the airplane, I think you should subscribe to PAmbrose99 for updates hehe

This redesign tries to incorporate some of the feedback Free-Opium and their fiance were kind enough to provide for me, though I also tried to retain some of the original shape.

i know its a odd question but was the plane designed by AI or is it a design you came up yourself that just happens to have a very odd placement of details that happen to accidentaly look like AI?

But... it doesn't even look like AI... Maybe some of the details don't look perfectly authentic, but geez it's an illustration, not a Blueprint!

its as i said more how the details are placed than the texturing and stuff.

im not the author but i would say im kinda knowledgable about fighter planes and i would say late piston and prop or early jet era for the base.
