When You Break Free Chapter Six
When You Break Free
Chapter Six (May)
Okay, here is the next installment of When You Break Free. I originally planned to wait until I finished the next chapter which is from Sasha’s POV, to post them both together. Yet after some helpful feedback, I think this chapter can work on its own. Also, I am eager to give this story an update.
So as always thank you everyone for your comments and please let me know what you think.

The chapter absolutely works on its own. There's a nice building of tension between Sasha and May that contrasts nicely with Kevin's experience. It's paced really well and ties a nice bow on the previous couple of chapters, while also being a great end-point for the beginning of the story. It's established the setting, character dynamics, and the points of tension. The upcoming change in perspective would be a great jumping off point for the middle part of the story.
Honestly, it makes me think of Jane's story and what this one does differently. With Jane, since only one character experienced the regression, only one experience can be portrayed. In this story, two characters experience regression and can react very differently to the same situation. It's really satisfying to read and it makes me think a bit

Thanks. I'm glad that the flow in the chapter comes off well.
I love Jane to death and he will always be my OG, but I really wanted to dive into this story with the different feelings that could come from regression. Especially by having both Kevin and Sasha the conflict that comes from it. I can't wait to dive into how its their own personal issues that play such a big role in how they react to things. Also just how May has to balance her actions trying to help each of them.
I'm really glad you seem to enjoy this story and can't wait to keep writing more of it.

I can confirm that it was the same meteor shower. In total there are six furs in total that I know of so far that got regressed as a result of it. If you go back and read "When you Wish Upon a Star" there is a scene where Mary visits a small diner. The two kittens she sees there are actually characters from other stories I have started writing and/or broken out stories in my notebook.
