catmonkshiro is a good friend of mine, and for the past few years at AC I've gotten a "Theme" badge from him that ties into the con theme. In 2010, the theme was "Modern Stone Age Furries". Now, that doesn't tie into birds much, and I'm not much a fan of Flintstones, which was kinda the clear inspiration.
On the other hand, I'm always interested in TF, and birds were in pretty short supply when dinosaurs were around. So here we have Arrow being TF'ed into a pterodactyl by a stone age shaman staff(which appears on Shiro's badge; it lines up horizontally to form a single piece).
I think it came out well, and I particularly enjoy it. And now that I've got it uploaded here,
Lunarkeys will have long-term access to it and he can stop threatening to steal the badge from me. Hopefully.Art by
