Not that I'm overly criticizing her, since well, as much as there's a possibility for someone to grow wise and learn many things with age (things like being cautious for an example), I guess it's also a possibility that... it can become difficult to worry a lot about (what may feel like) every little thing, when you lived for a very long time. If lived as long as let's say... an ancient ex-vampire, surpassing multiple lifetimes of most people, I guess you're bound to become at least somewhat desensitized.
If you are very cautious & weary of many things over an extended period of time, if rarely drop your guard, that's bound to give some anxiety issues & paranoia I guess.
