Attempting to practice painted rendering via (mostly) one layer. As an experiment, it failed successfully, and I now have a better idea of what I want to do and don't want to do. Planning on fleshing out more of the workflow tomorrow!
As an additional FYI, the comic is still being worked on, it's just slow going!
