While Autosaurs are very good at blending in with normal cars, there's one unique thing if you look under their hood, assuming they allow you to. If they do not want to fully hide or are around trusted individuals, there's a high chance you will see their dinosaur head underneath the hood. While their heads look normal, they will lack teeth or any details within their mouth. It will be a blank lower and upper jaw inside, and no throat hole visible, either.
If they are uncomfortable or just want to fully blend in, they can replace this head with a perfect appearance of the engine their normal car equivalent has, or other engines from other vehicles if they are trained/taught this skill as this is not very common for Autosaurs to do. And, they can also lock their hood and it will not be openable unless they allow it, or its taken off by force which is severely not recommended for any and all reasons.
Been picturing this part of the species a lot, and glad I can finally see it come to fruition. This is what Autosaur "engine bays" look like. All Autosaurs will have their head underneath their hood, but can disguise it to look perfectly like the engine that the real car they're designed to be would have. But some, such as Demon, can also replicate engines from other vehicles if they wanted to, but this knowledge must be taught to an Autosaur as it takes practice.

Dude this is AMAZING and also funny enough the almost same concept for my eldritch boy Mitchell! His engine bay, when unconcerned, is a bottomless pit of hell filled with tons of warm, slimy, squirming tendrils, surrounded by sharp black teeth. When he wants to camouflage, his engine bay turns back into the normal 440 Magnum V8 of his host 1970 Dodge Charger!
