"Relax my boy, you just went through a serious operation, your stitches are still fresh so it is best not to move too much" the attending dragon nurse said as Ion woke up from surgery in a state of shock as he felt the place just below his left ribcage, feeling the bandages tightly wrapped there before relaxing slightly. "Don't worry your wound will heal in time, though we had to perform a splenectomy to prevent you from bleeding out and while we were not fully equipped to treat a non dragon as yourself, we were able to make due with the supplies we did have" the dragon nurse continued saying as Ion looked at her in a bit more shock, "though due to these reasons, on the positive side, the transfused dragon blood now running through your veins should help your recovery immensely, while we don't know what it's full effects would be on one such as yourself, we didn't have much a choice in order to save your life, but think of it this way, you are now more one of us then any dragonkin that has come before" the dragon nurse finished in a cheerful voice as Ion looked over his wounded body, he wasn't on any meds or painkillers but he didn't feel any pain, at least at the moment, he felt invigorated, maybe this was a blessing in disguise, though a curse brough upon him by his own doing, he egged Lazar and his Bushi's on which ending up getting him accidently stabbed, Lazar, he had to apologize to him" Ion thought as he tried to get out of bed but the dragon nurse pushed him back down. "Where do you think your going? I said you need to relax and rest, anything else can wait until you are healed up" the dragon nurse said giving Ion a stern look as he sunk back into his bed, "I guess that will have to wait, I just hope he can forgive me....."
