Decided to venture out onto the FA platform and give it a whirl. Thought I'd finally share the result of a project I was working on since 2014.
My hope is to eventually expand this to cover other species, at least in regard to the hands, feet, and head of course, but we'll see.
You can (finally) purchase this pattern on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/151281.....lushie-pattern
──◊──┤ Description: ├──◊──
This pattern, (three PDF documents), includes a basic set of instructions on 8 pages total; those same instructions with pictures on 14 pages total; and 5 pages of pattern pieces which include:
►Body pieces (including arms, bosom, and belly button)
►Head pieces (including ears)
►Unicorn horn
(Wing, hair, mane, tail, and/or embroidery designs not included.)
This pattern is designed to work with minky fabric. Fabrics with a similar stretch are not guaranteed, as using different fabrics will most likely yield different or unexpected results. The instructions assume some good knowledge of sewing, as the pattern is not a beginner pattern. Nevertheless, this pattern comes with plenty of pictures that should help! There are also some generalized tutorials I’ve posted on YouTube which only cover quadruped patterns, but share similar concepts.
The resulting plush size should be approximately 24" (60 cm) tall from hoof bottom to top of head when the pattern is printed at 100% actual size. Anything larger than 36" tall isn’t supported and will run into technical issues.
H34, B23, A06, E05 explained: ‘H’ = my head pattern, ‘B’ = body, “A” = arms, and “E” = ears. Numbers represent the respective version of each part.
