No one said it's not canon anymore. Otherwise these two would have no basis for being together. Not to mention the events of Learning Curves have been directly referenced multiple times in Las Lindas and are an integral part of Miles' backstory AND how Shin ended up with Naerie, kinda hard to ignore that.
Hope's apparent personality change is just part of an ongoing problem with the comic, and more specifically, Chalo's weird desire for the Love Clan to just be all about having an insatiable sex drive and lack of commitment. Grace had a similar change of character, you might recall, and we even got a whole bit where Joy could only realize her clan powers after getting plowed enough.
The entire series has frankly presented a rather juvenile understanding of love, sex, relationships in general and women, and while both have this issue, I feel like it's much more SK's fault than Chalo's, considering who writes most of the main comic and also wrote Learning Curves.
To be fair, Chalo and Godai have been doing their webcomics for so many years and they do have their own lives in real life, so regardless of whatever isn't canon anymore because of their cancelled spin-off comics except for Knighthood and KnuckleUp respectively... and whatever is canon yet they can't keep track of everything, probably... both webcomics just are what they are and we should just leave it be.
Take a look at how long TwoKinds has been around for. As of 2023, Tom Fischbach has spent 20 years working on TwoKinds, about a year and a half longer than Las Lindas has been around. His comic predates the start of his own far more famous brother's career by nearly a decade. Now notice it has more consistency than Las Lindas by far.
That's because Tom Fischbach knows how to keep notes about his own damn story.

Tigers are a naturally huge animal though. If we're seriously expected to believe Tiggs is only so big because her father's a bull and yet neither she nor her sister have even one miniscule bovine trait, not only is that ridiculous, but it does in fact go against how we've been SHOWN this shit works, like how Joy has a long tail and sharp teeth because she has a canine father, or how Messiah is half dove or something and has big angel-esque wings as a result.
It goes against what we've been shown, but this is one of those things where I can kind of let it slide because you can say we the audience just haven't seen this type of whatever this is because it's a uncommon form of genetic inherentance or something and we don't really know how exactly this works for them because (thankfully) they haven't actually gone in-depth with it, as far as I'm aware. Like if Chalo or whoever were to keep this in the back of their head from now on and kept it consistent alongside the hybrids ones I'd allow it.
That being said, I know this is just an excuse for more character designs down the line, so we can get shortstacks and amazonesses in a variety of species or something.

Even with that there's like some potential leeway with what does and doesn't define a trait.
This does make me wonder though, how are hybrids not more common. Like we, as humans, have a thing where basically what ethnic demogrpahic you're talking about, if they can get to another one they'll bone. And pretty much everyone in this universe is a horndog, so how is a big chunk of the Prime population not chimera looking people at this point?

I guess one could say the mass of a bovine could count as one of it's species traits, i just have no idea what a species trait actually means or why that would be the case. The original hybrid thing didn't make kuch sense to begin with.
There's no way they had this in their head when designing characters anyway though, that's how someone like Sunny who's a Golden retriever winds up smaller than Randall who's border collie counterpart at it's tallest would never reach the shortest full grown Golden retriever.

In this case, stuff like horns, wings, ears, teeth, etc., like the examples I gave before Joy and Messiah, or Mora having her rabbit-thing dad's ears.

That's kinda what I was pointing out too, that while I'm sure some Primes are more predisposed to being within a certain size range, it's not a set rule, as proven by, for example, Jenny there being so small. So to treat tallness as something Tiggs got specifically from her dad being a bull rather than just him being tall (while her sister apparently picked up nothing at all from him) seems pretty ridiculous, and I think Chalo has made it very obvious that he decided MUCH later that Tiggs is half cow but didn't feel like retconning her design to fit his own rules.
