Been a little lacking in the video game tracks lately, so here's a big fat pokeyman remix for you all! Expect a few more of these while Servadile and I make our slow and steady progress on RAFvsPDS.
I tried to go for a Gabber/Rave feel with this one, but I'm not quite sure how it turned out (more like 90's Trance than anything). I tried to practice and improve on my bass and ambient tones, while taking the overall melody and putting it in a completely different genre. As a bonus inspired by the works of PokeRemixStudio, I added in some actual pokemon cries - Rayquaza and Mesprit - and overlayed them towards the end. They go surprisingly well together, actually...

I'm also aware I need a new drum sample. The mixcraft ones are terrible to run through a compressor though and I'm still learning how to create my own kick/snare loops. But I can also say I'm very happy with my VSTs.
