"My name is Kuma Kor and I was raised in the Animal clan for as long as I remember and this is my story"

"This is Nibel, The city of Animal Clan, led by the Dragon king, The king of Animals, Riyu Kor, my father."

The Chimera covered himself in a black cloak as he jumped easily building by building, staying out of the animals' citizens' sight, not wanting to cause disturbance or panic.

"Almost there... or Dad will be mad," Kuma said as he arrived at his bedroom window and sneaked back in. "Phew made it and Dad did not know I was out. Right, Freedo?"

Kuma is a bear shark dragon chimera with blue and black fur and a shark tail with purple fur streamlined and horns on the head with some fins*

Kuma's pet lizard, the very first friend he made, was found as an egg as a child and always with him. He has black and yellow stripes with a white ball shape tail and blue underbelly

Freddo croaked nervously and pointed his balltail at the doorway and it's open.

"What do you mean to do- oh man... Kuma said as he froze as he saw the door open and his dragon dad crossing his arms as if he had been waiting for Kuma for a while. "oh Heyyyyy Dad... How long have you been standing there? '' Kuma chuckled nervously.

"For about a minute and a half..." Riyu said as he expressed a very judgmental face. "What were you doing in the middle of the night?"

"Ummmmm.... Nothing... just out and about?" Kuma said as he took off the black cloak placed it on a chair nearby and smiled innocently.

"Kuuuma. We talked about hiding things behind my back, didn't we?" Riyu said

Kuma sighed loudly as he dropped his arms. "I know I know Dad.... No going out without Alan-Sensei or bodyguards escort..."

"You know it can be dangerous if you're reckless. Especially if you know how our subjects treat you if caught alone and I just introduced you to the citizens." Riyu said

"Because I'm a chimera I know... because of the war... But Dad I'm getting a little tired of being stuck here and going out with escorts. I get animals are afraid of me but... they are not even giving me a chance!" Kuma shouted as he just collapsed on the bed. "There is a big world going on and I'm stuck here with Freedo. No offense, Freedo."

Freedo croaked and lay next to Kuma on the bed, curled up as if he saying, "None taken."

Riyu gave off a big sigh. "I know but we can't just simply risk everything. " Riyu said as he walked to Kuma's bed. "Just not until I know you can take care of yourself."

"But Dad... I want to experience the things you do. Like New Year's and other special events every day. I know you and I do it together every year and all but I want to experience it with others. I... You can't just expect me to be hiding here forever..." Kuma complained as he crossed his arms and lay on his bed.

Riyu let out a sigh as he walked to Kuma and sat next to Kuma on his bed.

"I... know this is all hard for you, and that I have been putting you at closed doors here but.. you're very dear to me, just like a family. I just don't want to simply lose you like this and I couldn't do anything about... I'm not even sure if... I'm ready to see you taking care of yourself while you're away and far from my sight.. makes my heart race so fast in worry..." Riyu said as he tried to comfort Kuma with a pat on the back.

"You didn't even let me have a chance either. I had training from you and Alan-sensei!." Kuma growled a bit grumpily as he lay on the bed, looking away a bit. "I can't be prepared for anything if I'm always here... all I know is I might be the last of Chimera, the last of my kind..."

Riyu came close to him and hugged him. "I swear I don't want to keep you here forever... I just want to make sure you'll be truly ok alright?" Riyu said

Kuma hugged his Dad tight for a moment then broke the hug. "Ok... Just not too long. I think I'll head to bed now ok?" Kuma asked as he just lay on the bed Freedo just curled up on him, sleeping already.

One would think Freedo would have so much entry being in Kuma's fur all day but still sleeps. Silly Freedo.

Then he saw his Dad's facial expression and he sighed, knowing what it that about.

"Don't worry I won't sneak out... not for a while though. No one saw me tonight, ok?" Kuma said.

"Good then. Good night son." Riyu waved him good night as he left the room.

"Night Dad," Kuma said as he grabbed his cover and slept with his little lizard buddy.

A bit later, Riyu left the room and headed to the throne room where he found his right-hand bodyguard and teacher for Kuma, Alan Niko, the purple samurai rhino with a ring on his horn and green hair and a left blind eye with a scar over it, he is wearing the robe covering his lower half with a gray vest covering his body.

"Is he back in his room?" Alan asked.

Riyu nodded yes with his arms crossed with an expressive concern on his face.

"Yes, he is, honestly I can't blame my son. Even though he does go out with an escort, he is not really experiencing things much like everyone else and only can experience things by sneaking out there and watching if no one sees him because my subjects are still scared of him." Riyu said as he sighed.

"My king, I mean disrespect to your son. Even he is doing well with training with me. He is still a child. He still wants to explore. After all, you can cave the lion, not the roar. Eventually, he wants to find a way to enjoy life." Alan said.

Riyu walked to his throne, sitting down for a moment, thinking about what Alan had said to him.

"Mmm... You're right. Perhaps... I should try to give him a chance. Get the animals to know him. To prove himself that he can resist and show that he can take care of him." Riyu said

"Sounds like a fine idea. Though I'm curious about some sort of dark aura you sensed when he healed your wound as a child. Tuskarr checked him out and found nothing, not even 7 years now." Alan expressed interest. "Not even a slight feeling of that came back yet?"

Riyu looked at his right hand, seeing the scar that had been healed since Riyu protected Kuma from that General's axe.

"I wonder that too... But for now, I just want my son to feel secure and feel like he's at home. I'm just glad he has Freedo. At least they both have company. They both don't know where they came from or their origin." Riyu said

"You're a good man. I hope as well that Kuma finds his place in the kingdom." Alan said as he placed his hand on Riyu's shoulder.

"Thanks, Old friend," Riyu said as he smiled

The next morning, Kuma woke up as Feedo casually just walked around his face to wake him up.

"Ok ok Freedo I'm up... '' Kuma said as he yawned* Good morning to you too buddy.

Freedo Croaked as he just licked Kuma's face.

"Just another same routine right buddy? Wait for Dad or the escorts. Same old same old." Kuma said as he went to put the clothes on and Freedo just jumped on him and hid inside Kuma's fur.

Freedo loves to hide in Kuma's fur even if it is all day.

Riyu comes in, already hearing what Kuma said when he woke up.

"Actually son, I'm thinking of doing some things differently today," Riyu said

"H-huh...? Wait, what really?" Kuma exclaimed

"Just been thinking and I wasn't being fair and I apologize for that. You're my son and I should trust you more to give you more chances. So I'm thinking after some class sessions and training, We could make a sword for you as well try to show a good impression to the citizens below?" Riyu said as he expressed his ideas.

Kuma gasped at the idea.

"R-really? Us making a weapon for me? You're not messing with me?" Kuma asked as he showed his excitement in his eyes.

"Nope. I'm actually serious for once and I really don't want you to feel like a prisoner. I know I can't change your desire for adventure and such... But if I'm going to give you chances, the best thing I can do for you is make sure you can handle yourself. This is your home after all. We can do this after your training session with Alan. Is that a deal, son" Riyu said.

"Oh yes thank you, Dad! You're the best!" Kuma exclaimed as he rushed and hugged his father. "I promise I won't let you regret it!"

"Of course, son. Now go ahead, Alan is waiting for you at the training ground." Riyu said as he hugged him back.

"Right! Of course! I'll see you then! Tuskarr's lab right?" Kuma asked.

"Yes Kuma, that's the place. Come right before dark. We'll have everything set." Riyu said.

"Got it, Dad!" Kuma said happily as he left his room.

Kuma rushed down to the courtyard to see Alan waiting for him.

"Hey Kuma. Are you ready?" Alan said as he greeted Kuma by handing him one of these wooden training swords. "Little late, aren't we now?"

"Sorry Alan-Sensei! I was talking with my Dad!" Kuma said as he grabbed the wooden sword.

"Hehe.. I see. No worries. It must be something important to be late but no worries. Anyway, let's go. I got new lessons for you. Get in position!" Alan commanded as he took out his own customized sword.

So the few hours went by as Kuma started panting hard catching his breath after a few hours of his kind teacher but hard lessons poured into his mind soul and body.

"Good work. You have better control of your body weight and sword. You'd make a full-fledged samurai someday if it was the case." Alan said.

"Hehe... thanks Alan-Sensei.." Kuma said as he caught his breath and then he saw the sky getting a bit dark. "Oh shoot I'm late to meet Dad! Let's go Freedo!"

Freedo quickly jumped on Kuma as he ran by him, heading to Tuskarr's lab.

When he arrived, he saw his father and a large Walrus, in his blue kimono clothing with his staff and a shark in the back in his lab coat.

"Hey, Dad! Sorry, I was late! You know what Alan-Sensei's training is like!" Kuma gasped as he went to catch his breath.

"No worries, son. Anyway you know our mage Tuskarr here yes? And this is his assistant, Bait." Riyu said as he guided his hand, pointing at these two.

Tuskarr is a very large walrus with a white beard and black rubber skin with some spots, wearing blue-black kimono clothing with a staff that has a mysterious blue color with a circle gem in the middle. He is the mage of magic who sometimes teaches Kuma tips on how to control magic easier, especially when Kuma learns he was born with ice magic when caught a "cold" one day" And Bait is the Blue shark species who came to Tuskarr's lectures and want to learn under him and have unique gifts for crafting mechs and chemicals and even if he does lacks magic to create his own, he had created a gun to unleash gravity areas when using it. But today he doesn't seem to be in a good mood. Bait grumbled as he kept working on his research Tuskarr sighed, speaking to Bait.

"Bait what did I say about greeting guests here?" Tuskarr asked.

Bait groaned as he turned and saw Kuma and Riyu with a grumbling face. "Hey..." Bait quickly said as he turned back and kept working.

"Ummmm... hi? Not very chatty huh?" Kuma mumbled a bit as he waved at Bait a bit.

"Eeehhh... sorry about that. Anyway...you're here on time! Ready for making your weapon?" Tuskarr said as he unrolled a large tool belt, revealing a few things such as some crystals and some tools to use with.

"And he is here to give us special materials for you to make a sword of your own. After all, it is our tradition for the warriors to make their own weapons. Of course, I'll help you." Riyu smiled.

"Oh neat... wow... look at this shining crystal. This is what we'll be needing to use to make me a weapon?" Kuma asked as he gazed at the shiny crystal rock.

"Yes Kuma it will be used to make your own weapon. So first listen up Kuma, as you know, in our history, we found these crystals that seem to emit some sort of magic powers. We call these Primal Materials. We don't know how they get their magic. But it's a way for us to convert them to items we use daily, such as lighting, buildings, and of course our weapons." Tuskarr explained. "In essence, it is part of our daily lives."

"I see... so curious but They're found deep in caves and underground, right? That's how they are made? Is that why we have animals with cave experience digging for these?" Kuma asked.

"Yes. We still can't see or find out where their magical properties come from yet. For now, the theory is they all came from the center of Earth only to raise to our level is what we only believe at the moment." Tuskarr said.

"Wow.... geeee I would like to find out one day. Who knows, maybe that'll win the animals over?" Kuma said with a thought in his head, thinking how it would go great for him.

"Who knows son, but for now one step at a time ok? Now we're going to make you a weapon just for you to use." Riyu said.

"Got it. I'm ready" Kuma said excitedly.

"That's the spirit. So the first thing you do is..." Riyu said as he started explaining the steps and guided him through the process.

A few hours later, the Primal Materials were crushed and melted and shaped into a sword as Kuma was sweating during the process. Then finally the sword is ready.

"Mmmmm..... The sharpness looks good. The weight feels right... and seems the right length. Your sword should be good. Give it a grip!" Tuskarr said, giving the newly made sword to Kuma after examining it briefly.

"Wow....." Kuma said it excitedly as he picked up the sword and gripped the hilt. "... the sword feels just right...!"

"Looking good. Try pouring some of your magic in the sword and it'll give us the color. With your magic, I'm sure it would be blue or white same as mine." Riyu instructed.

"O-ok!" Kuma began to focus and start pouring some of his magic into the sword. "Whoa...."

"The color is coming on! And the color is...." Tuskarr gleefully said.

The sword slowly turned to blue .... then to everyone's surprise... the sword started to slowly become a little darker color, blue mixing with purple for some reason!

"Blue mixed with purple? Interesting..." Riyu said as he rubbed his beard.

"Huh? I get the blue but why do I have purple?! I don't think I have anything to represent purple! Is it bad?" Kuma said as he started to feel worried he did something wrong.

"Calm down son. We're not saying it is bad. But I am confused as well. But I see this as a journey to find out one day. For now, congratulations on making the weapon for yourself." Riyu said

"Oh alright! Freedo check it out!" Kuma said excitedly as Freedo chirped happily as he watched Kuma give it a few swings switch to reverse grip and give it a slash to one of the dummies figures.

"Ooooo this sword feels great!" Kuma said as he gave it a few more slashes as he got to close one of the chemicals and knocked a few flasks off to the floor with his tail which made Bait mad.

"Oh dang... I'm sorry Bait I did-" Kuma didn't finish as he was interrupted by Bait's rage.

"Damn it you chimera! I don't care that you are King Riyu's son but no one messes with my work! You chimeras are nothing but trouble!" Bait said angrily.

"Hey, I said I'm sorry, ok?" Kuma said quickly as he waved his hands.

"Bait!" Tuskarr angrily said as he slammed his staff on the floor. "He apologized and these tests are replaceable ok? Now apologize for yelling at him. He is still very young. He said he didn't mean to on purpose."

Bait growled angrily grabbed his notebooks and left the lab without saying a word as Tuskarr sighed.

"I apologized for my assistant, Your Majesty. He is still very young. He is always trying to get my approvals as he made his own projects, as few of them were shut down recently a few times due to your laws of the past." Tuskarr said.

"No problem, Tuskarr. No need to apologize. We used to be young too. I'm sure he'd make a fine tech like you one day." Riyu said.

"Thank you, your Majesty. I will check on him later and talk to him." Tuskarr said as he rolled up the tool belt.

"You do that. And of course Kuma, you are fine and don't worry about the accident. Take this day as a win and take a rest in your room ok?" Riyu said as he gave off a smile.

"Got it, Dad, Thanks for today!" Kuma happily said as he sheathed his new sword placed it on his belt hugged his father then left the lab with a smile on his face, heading home for the day.

"Glad I can help bring a smile to your son's face today. Remind me a bit of your younger self if you asked me." Tuskarr said with a smile as he rubbed his beard.

"Thank you Tuskarr. You did great work today. I'll be heading to call for the night as well. Take a rest tonight." Riyu said as he left the lab to his palace.

"Of course, good night, your majesty," Tuskarr said as he started to close up the lab.

An hour later, it is still a clear sky with a full moon as Tuskarr is clearing up his lab and getting ready to leave and turns off the light when he hears a metal-like noise mixed with a humming noise

"Huh? Hello?" Tuskarr quickly said as he made his staff glow blue light to look around, and didn't see anything. "Huh? Must be the wind" Tuskarr said as he turned and bumped into something big and metallic with glowing red eyes it grabbed him and took him away without a chance to say anything.

Both Riyu and Alan were talking together in the throne room when one of the soldiers bolted in, looking a little spooked

"Huh? What is it, Soldier? What happened?" Alan exclaimed.

"I-I-I dunno! Some beings with red eyes and metal armor! Coming out of the lab! Too dark to see!" The soldier said with fear in his voice.

"Red eyes? Wait? The lab you say? That's where Tuskarr was!" Riyu exclaimed. "let's check it out. Hopefully, it'll be a prank. Alan, get some guards to meet us there!"

"Yes sir, be careful your majesty," Alan responded.

Riyu rushed to the lab as Alan went to gather some soldiers.

"Tuskarr! Are you here?" Riyu asked as he peaked in with his sword in his hand."

"King Riyu! Get out of there, don't worry about me. It's Bait! He had betrayed us!" Tuskarr exclaimed.

Riyu unsheathed his great sword and held it up with two arms as he saw a large bear-like machine, pinning Tuskarr down with Bait next to it

"Betrayed? You betrayed me! By declining my work! No matter now! Riyu, if you're such a peacemaker king as you have said, you will lower down your weapon or I'll have Tuskarr killed right here!" Bait angrily said as he was shown he was responsible for this

"No, Your Majesty, don't worry about me!" Tuskarr said as he attempted to try to break from the machine but the machine was too heavy.

"Sorry Tuskarr but I would rather save everyone rather than sacrifice one person to save everyone...." Riyu said as he dropped his sword and raised his hand up. "Ok... I give up. Now let him go...."

Then Anthro tiger machine sneaked on him and pinned him down along with Tuskarr.

"Sorry, can't take chances!" Bait said

"Bait! You're such a wonderful scientist here! Why are you doing this?" Tuskarr asked as he was still shocked that his own assistant had betrayed the kingdom.

"Because you are always declining my work! I am a genius, yes but you never gave me a chance." Bait said.

The scene went to the flashback of a year ago.

Tuskarr followed Bait to the lab as he saw a project covered by a tarp. "Alright. I'm here, Bait. What's the secret project you have been telling me? Is it done?" Tuskarr asked.

"Yes, it is done. Well, it hasn't been tested yet but I thought it's better to test it together rather than alone." Bait said with excitement.

"Good choice. Ok, understood. Ok, reveal me whenever you're ready." Tuskarr commanded.

"Ok feast your eyes on this." Bait said as he grabbed the tarp and released the project Tuskarr was just shocked as he saw the project was a large bear-like machine with some wires and armor. "I call this project, "Animal Instincts" With this project made in numbers we can-"

But instead of an impressive expression, Tuskarr showed off an angry expression with a bit of sorrow. "Bait, I'll have to stop you right there but you have to shut this one down," Tuskar said with a bit of guilt.

"Wait what? I haven't explained its function yet and you're stopping me here?!" Bait asked him as he was confused as to why his teacher wouldn't support this.

Tuskarr sighed as he rubbed his face and looked at his assistant.

"Look here, Bait. You have good intentions but there is a reason why our King banned this type of project 20 years ago for a reason. Especially safety for our families." Tuskarr said as he patted Bait's shoulder.

"But I-" Bait said as he raised his arms angrily like.

"Dispose it now... do I make myself clear?"

Bait sighed as he just dropped his arm, accepting the command.

"Yes sir.... I apologize...." Bait said it quietly.

"Good, you're forgiven as long as you understand," Tuskarr said as he turned around and walked back to his lab upstairs.

"Grrrr.... One day, I'll prove it to you. You'll regret it...." Bait angrily said.

The scene went back to the present

"Wait... you continue doing project Animal Instincts behind my back after I told you not to?!" Tuskarr asked loudly.

"I told you, this project will change the world and help us win the Global war against the other clans! Especially help change the tide of the battlefields! Even though we are not fighting as much against other clans, we still need to protect ourselves. For the safety of our families as you said!" Bait said.

"Bait, you have good intentions but do you really think our king would approve this? He hopes to make peace one day!" Tuskarr asked.

"He's right, Bait. This isn't the way! I forbade this rule for that reason! You may not know what happened years know but you weren't even born yet." Riyu said

"Tch... Riyu you're the same as Tuskarr... why no one will realize my genius? Rule this rules this...." Bait said as he swinger his arms around, pointing all over.

Then Alan knocked down the door with his sword up air some soldiers behind him.

"Bait! You're committing treason! Don't make it hard for yourself and surrender!" Alan said as pointed his blade at Bait.

"Tch... oh yeah... You won't be a problem." Bait said evilly as he reached for his gun on his belt and shot it in the area where Alan was and Alan dodged the beam.

"For the brains... not a good shot...." Alan mocked

"For the brawns like you... not very aware of your surroundings either." Bait mocked back.

"A-Alan... I'm suddenly feeling heavy all of the sudden...." One of the soldiers said as the whole squad just collapsed on the ground the ground was dragged into their bodies.

"W-what is this?" Alan said as he felt heavy and attempted to get up but then crushed on the ground, unable to get back up. "I can't get up...."

"It's called gravity, Alan. And your famous lighting ability won't help you this time. I just merely made your area gravity heavier for you. You can't even lift a finger." Bait said.

"Tch.... Damn it...." Alan said.

"And as for you, Tuskarr and Riyu, I will prove to you that my invention is superior by proving to kill our enemies. Starting with your so-called Chimera son...." Bait said.

Riyu gasped as he understood what Bait was about to do

"Kuma! If you dare touch my son...." Riyu said as growled a bit but the bear bot was still holding him down strongly.

"Your so-called threats won't help you now.

I do need to pay him back for messing with my work earlier anyway...." Bait said He lifted his right arm and pressed a button on the arm controller. "Proceeds plan "Territory take over" and kill the chimera. He's not one of us. And take out everyone who gets in the way."

"Don't worry, Your Majesty. I wouldn't underestimate your son." Tuskarr said.

The other animal-themed bots had awakened and received the command that Bait had spoken on the controller and went to the King's castle, going from room to room, taking out everyone who fought back, until one of them went to Kuma's room.

Kuma was looking at his new sword blade, looking at his own reflection as he unsheathed halfway, browsing it excitedly when he heard some humming-like noises mixed with growling and war cries.

"Huh? W-what is going on?" Kuma wondered as he walked to the door as Freedo chirped nervously.

Kuma was about to open the door when the middle of the door was punched through he saw a metal-like arm with bear claws through the door and then was pulled away, completely destroying the door in the process.

"Wh-what the?! Who are you?" Kuma exclaimed as he gasped at the giant metal creature.

The bear bot scanned Kuma with its red eyes.

"The target chimera is locked... terminating it now...." It said as it opened its mouth and suddenly shot out the heavy blue laser beam at Kuma.

"Whoa!" Kuma shouted as he ducked down as the laser went by him and blasted a hole through his wall. "Ok.... not much of a talker just strong but silent type... got it...!"

The bear shot the laser once again but then Freedo just jumped on Kuma's back and bit the laser with his mouth, absorbing the magical energy from the laser, and transforming into the battle form.

Freedo's battle form appearance is a larger body with yellow and black stripes blue spikes and white fur, streamlining to the head to the bail tail, glowing blue with flame effects, and large fangs, glowing blue.

"Phew... thanks for the save, Freedo. Now blast it back!" Kuma commanded.

Freedo growled angrily as he blasted the energy back at the bot with his own version of the laser beam with a flamethrower effect.

The reflected attack hit the bot hard, making it stagger a bit as it got back on its feet, the shockwave made it stagger but still not scratched the bot. To Kuma's mind, the machine armor allows it to be immune to magical attacks.

Freedo reverted to its normal size again due to using all the magic he had absorbed to fight back. This magical absorbing ability was learned by Freedo by accident one day a few months ago.

"Great shot, Freedo but looks like it only slows it down. Get on my shoulder, Freedo. You did well. Can't be helped since we only learned you can do this a few months ago but not much practice." Kuma said as Freedo climbed back onto Kuma's shoulder and hid in Kuma's fur in the clothing.

"Target is more dangerous than predicted. Changing to close combat mode..."

The bear bot had put its gun away and unsheathed its claws as it charged at Kuma.

"Bring it!" Kuma shouted as he unsheathed his newly made sword to block the claws' attack, clashing each other with the sound of clanging.

"Tch... so heavy...." Kuma grunted as he rolled to the side as the claws crushed the ground, shaking the bookshelf and the bed. "Geez... who made you?!"

Both go on as the bear keeps going on offense as Kuma keeps dodging, but Kuma knows he can't keep playing defense forever He has to go on offense or he'll die.

"You may be immune to magic but can you do physical magic?" Kuma said as he jumped to a safe distance and swung his sword it unleashed a barrage of ice spears at the bear bot as it used its claws to slash the ice away, and while it was distracted, he placed a hand on the floor as he send out walls of ice to the bear, as making ice spears spawning from below, trapping the bear to keep it from moving. "And.... I got you!" Kuma shouted as he leaped forward and he aimed his sword at the head as to hope to stab it dead.

During this moment, the bear machine increased its power as it broke free from the ice, grabbed the sword, and slammed Kuma at the ground*

"Gah.... Dammit, so close." Kuma gasped as it grabbed Kuma by the neck and slammed it against the wall.

Bear Bot continued to hold Kuma against the wall as it began to ready its laser attack once again.

"Shit...Let me go....." Kuma grunted as he started to shake and tried to break free from the bear's grip but it was all for naught as it started to charge up its laser attack. " I said..... Let me go! *he said as Kuma's arm started to have glowing purple markings, growing from his hand to around his arm. "Grr Aaaahhhhhh....!" He growled loudly as he got his new mysterious strength increasing, breaking free from the grip as he ripped the bear bot's arm off clean and easily.

"Detecting .... losing an arm, warning target increased physical strength... countermeasures activating..."

"Just shut up already!" Kuma shouted as he swung the broken arm at the bear bot, making it fly against the wall, crushing it through to the hallway then he grabbed his sword, changing his magic power into it, making it glow purple with blue, as he used it to slash the bear bot's head off vertically.

"Losing power... error... losing-- "the bot said as it powered down.

"Ahhhh...." Kuma grunted as he collapsed on the floor on his knees, as the sword clanged on the floor, still glowing the color and just for a moment, Kuma saw the yellow and red eyes on the reflection of the sword before it faded and the mysterious purple mark on his arm disappeared.

"Huff...gasp... What was that? Wait, I defeated that machine... but I... felt the surge of power... what were those eyes and the mark on me... and why do I feel so exhausted...?" Kuma asked as he looked at the blade reflection, seeing himself then looked at his right paw.

Freedo chirped and came out of the fur and licked Kuma a bit, trying to comfort him.

"Huff... hehe thanks Freedo. You're right, I can find out later. First I just need to check what's going on..." Kuma said

Then a swarm of machines came into the hallway as they saw Kuma and started firing.

"Damn, there are more?!" Kuma exclaimed as he grabbed his sword and started running in the other direction he blocked off a few beams with his sword.

"Do not let the target escape."

Kuma ran to the end of the hallway which led to the library, and then he saw a vent. "There we can hide in there for a bit!" Kuma said as he saw the bots getting closer he jumped onto a shelf, causing the shelves' contents to drop out, and the shelves themselves began to topple over in a domino effect.

A few animal bots with claws started to claw through the ceiling, attempting to slash Kuma in the process but however, but the chimera was able to evade being sliced to pieces and got away.

A few minutes later, Bait received a report from one of the bots.

"What?! What do you mean you let the chimera getaway?! And he defeated one of you?! Impossible, my creations are immune to magic attacks!" Bait said as he slammed his fist on the table.

Riyu grinned a bit as he heard the news.

"Having trouble there with your "greatest invention?" Riyu mocked.

"Grrrrr... Shut up! I'll prove you right! I'll take care of it personally!" Bait shouted.

All in a while, Bait was raging, Kuma could see the whole situation from the vent hole.

"Dang... Bait is behind this attack? And he got Dad and others down. Damn it... there is no way I can defeat him and his whole army... What to do...?" Kuma asked as he saw Bait had left the Room with two animal bots still holding down his Dad and Tuskarr, and Alan and others still stuck in gravity effect. "ok... this is my chance..."

Kuma kicked the vent open as he jumped on the tiger bot back, then the tiger bot let go of Riyu as it jumped around to try to get Kuma off and the Bear bot that was holding Tuskarr down, aimed the laser at Kuma as the laser was accidentally destroyed the Tiger Bot and Kuma jumped out of the way in time as he landed behind the bear bot and slashed the head off.

"Phew.... Didn't think that'd worked... Dad, Tuskarr are you guys ok?" Kuma said as he helped them get up.

"Whoa that was unexpected but thank you, Kuma. I am ok." Tuskarr said as he got back up, rubbing his clothes dust off.

Riyu got up as he rushed to hug his savior.

"We're alright, son. Good work escaping and saving us." Riyu said.

"Hehe thanks, Dad. It surprised me but I am alright." Kuma said as he hugged back.

"Good," Tuskarr said as he went to Alan to work on disabling the gravity effect to free Alan and others from it.

"Also Dad.... There is something I need to talk about... something I discovered... during the fight." Kuma said.

"What is it? Is it about Bait? We know he is responsible for this crisis." Riyu asked.

"No... well... I did but I was talking about me." Kuma said nervously.

"What about it? Are you ok?" Riyu said as he began to worry.

Kuma was about to answer when a bright flash came in with Alan shouting, "Look out!"

Then Kuma, Riyu, and Tuskarr were suddenly pulled down to the ground. It was once again the gravity effect due to Bait's gun.

"W-what?! I feel so heavy." Kuma exclaimed as he was dragged down.

"That is Bait's main work. He has the ability to increase the gravity effect in an area he shoots with his gun!" Tuskarr said as he was dragged down by gravity as well.

"Hahahaha I got you all now! I figured if I left the room, the chimera would have no choice but to recuse you here! Now you may have destroyed a few of my creations, Chimera but what the heck. You always have to sacrifice a few pawns to win the chess." Bait said as he walked to Kuma, looking down at him.

"Gah... Bait if this is about the mess I made earlier... I'd say you're being dramatic about that!" Kuma mocked as he was focused trying to break free.

"Shut up, Chimera. Sure you did but it is not that" Bait said as he turned the knob on the gun he is holding, which increased the gravity effect as everyone grunted as they feel the floor dragging into their bodies. "For years, all I want is to be noticed. To be praised for my work. For something as big as this. But Tuskarr here turned me down and made me cancel my "Animal Instincts" while I know it'll be useful if I was given a chance! But no! Declined!"

"Trust me... Gahhhh... I know how to feel like an outcast. I feel the same too but.... This isn't right and you know it!" Kuma exclaimed as Kuma looked up at Bait's eyes.

"S-shut up! You know nothing. Plus this is my opportunity to prove everyone wrong!" Bait said

"Then what? You think King Riyu will forget about this and give you a medal?" Tuskarr asked.

"I said quiet!" He said as he increased the gravity effect to the max. "Animals... destroy them! Destroy them all! I don't care anymore!"

A few bots came in and started to charge their weapons at Kuma and the group.

"And don't worry... after this, I'll take over the Kingdom and will lead us to Victory in this war. And say you all got kidnapped or something. Whatever it is, I'll figure it out. I am a genius after all." Bait said as he started thinking in his head for a plan.

Hearing all this made Kuma feel angry, as he kept struggling to break free of the effects.

"Oh give up... no one ever escapes this trap. The Chimera clan is said to be powerful but not that powerful...

"Bait..... Shut upppp already...." Kuma growled as he grunted loudly as the mysterious purple mark appeared again around the right arm but seemed to be clearer, the mark of an animal tail but remained unidentified.

"W-what is going on? I can feel Kuma's power surging... Riyu said as he looked at Kuma, seeing the mysterious purple rune appearing all over Kuma's right arm.

"But it is over now! Everyone, fire!" Bait commanded!

The animal bots started unleashing a barrage of lasers at Kuma and the group when suddenly a barrage of purple-blue ice appeared, trapping and completely freezing all the machines in process and everyone saw Kuma standing up naturally in a heavy gravity effect area.

"Wh-what... but that's impossible! You shouldn't be up!" Bait exclaimed as he saw Kuma.

"This ends.... now!" Kuma shouted as he rushed to Bait and punched him hard in the jaw Bait dropped the controller and the gun and Kuma crushed them into pieces with his foot, destroying the controller and gun shut down all the machines and the gravity went back to normal, freeing Riyu and others.

"Ugh.... huff.... It is over...." Kuma quietly said as he suddenly collapsed on the ground as Riyu caught him.

"I got you, son. Good work." Riyu said.

"C-crap... he destroyed all my work... just like that. I better leave." Bait said as he rubbed his chin, as he attempted to leave the lab, only when flashes of lighting appeared in front of him, which was Alan with his arms crossed.

"Oh I don't think so"

Bait gulped as recognized his situation. "Perhaps we could talk over this. You look like a reasonable guy..." Bait nervously said.

"Nope." Alan said as he punched the light out of Bait with the hilt of his sword as he collapsed on the floor* "Take him to the dungeon below and ensure he doesn't have anything on him."

The soldiers then took him away.

A few hours later, the sun went up and the destruction and debris were slowly being cleaned away as Tuskarr headed to the throne room to meet Riyu.

"Your majesty, I want to say I deeply apologize for this situation. He was my assistant and yet...he had fallen to this path, which is my responsibility as he almost repeated the same mistake 20 years ago..." Tuskarr said as he bowed to Riyu.

"Hush now. I know you had good intentions back then and now I know you are still the same man today. He thought what he was doing was right. Everyone is ok this time. Honestly, be graceful that your brother wasn't here to see this." Riyu said as he let Tuskarr rise.

"Hehe agreed. If he was, he'd scolded me by now. Thankfully, he's away now." Tuskarr said

"Hehehe agreed. He is doing his part now as you are doing now. Both of you agreed with my ideology of war." Riyu said as he looked out the window, looking up at the sky filled with clouds.

"Yes, we do. Thank you, my king." Tuskarr said as he bowed again down with his stuff. "Say where is your son? Is he ok after that strange power he had?"

"Yes, he is fine. I imagine he is at this usual spot." Riyu said as he smiled.

Kuma is sitting on the ledge at the top of the caste tower watching the sunset with Freedo resting beside him, the wind is blowing softly as his clothes and tail fur ruffled a bit when Riyu came up.

"Hey, son. How are you feeling?" Riyu asked as he said as he sits next to Kuma. "I figured I find you here since that's where the best winds are to relax you."

"Oh hey, Dad. I'm ok. I was just trying to think and understand what happened to me. The surge of power came to me out of nowhere as I was pushed back." Kuma said as he looked at the sky and back looking at his right paw.

"Yes... the mark on your arm.. and the eyes you mentioned." Riyu said as he rubbed his beard.

"Yeah... What is happening to me? I used it twice but ended up feeling tired afterward... but It came to me randomly. Maybe it is-" Kuma said but he was stopped right here as he felt his father's hand on his back.

"Hush Kuma. I don't understand it myself either... but today... you did something amazing. You saved Tuskarr and others. You saved me too. And if it wasn't for you, who knows what would have happened? I promise you we'll figure it out... But today... take the win ok?" Riyu said with a smile on his face.

"Hehe... alright Dad I win. Thanks, Dad." Kuma said as he smiled back.

Chapter 1 ended.

Somewhere... in an unknown place, there is a large room in the darkness, a room of 10 different species with a spider sitting in the middle of the room.

"What? Are you sure you sensed it?" The mysterious spider asked

"Of course... It had been 10 years. But it could be possible that he is alive." The masked shark said.

"Mmmm... if he is... then we don't need to wait for the demon to be resurrected... we can resume the project..."Crystal Palace" once again."
