Another player, Agarona, ended up making a deal with a dark entity, and wanted to sever the link and deal in that. As we were warned, the entity would not let go easily, and we ended up fighting a hydra with the heads of angler fish. Cammy, being a big source of radiant magic, was targeted and got focused by eight heads. She was made quick work of, and eaten. Her injuries included many broken bones that will likely lead to amputation of something, severed fingers, a broken horn and tail, a slash across her face that took out her eye, and several other gashes along her body. Can the injuries be fixed? We'll have to see.

Her last thoughts are to her friends. Her family. Her admiral.

On the other side, between the Halls of Silence and reality, she asked Heriot what path her judgement was destined for. She had done so much bad. "I just want to do more good in the end than bad..." Heriot plucked a thread from the sky, and one thread became many, until countless threads were streaking across the sky like constellations.
"You have done more good than even he has done bad."
The relief that washed over her, the knowledge that she was given, almost made dying worth it.
