I made this a while a go, while I was still working on Chesnaught, but this is the biggest reason why I wanted to make Chesnaught ever since I made Blaziken.

Lan the Blaziken and Trent the Chesnaught are characters I made based on my save file for Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon where I asked myself "Where would I find these two years after the main story of the game is finished?" and just kept building a story for them around that. Among other things, I imagined them eventually becoming a couple, and even had a couple of ideas revolving around that.
