Here is the next chapter of My Story, a very old story of mine and my first furry tale from when I was 11! It has typos and silliness galore!
Side note, why can't I make stories this long anymore?

***SIX DAYS LATER***
They were all heading to Duck, North Carolina, in Falco's awesomeness truck. Titanic and Auto were with them, along with all of Denali's cats.
"We're almost there!" Denali explained.
"Meow!" Said Jinx.
Everyone laughed.
"Dudes, you see all this debris all over from the hurricane a few days ago?" Auto asked.
"Yeah. Good thing the hurricane left before we got here." Falco said.
"Totally. Turn here, Falco." Firefox said as she studied the map.
"OK, thanks. Hey, is Fox still sleeping?" Falco asked.
"Yup." Came Titanic's voice from the back.
Suddenly, as if on cue, Fox jumped up. "I wasn't snoring!" He exclaimed randomly. "Oh, are we there yet?" Fox asked.
"Close." Titanic replied.
"Yeah. All we need to do is stop here and get the keys to the rental home." Falco added as he parked next to a small building. Before heading into the building, everyone enjoyed a bit of the warmth from the hot sun.
"Hey Fox, did you remember your blaster?" Firefox asked.
Fox looked all over for his blaster, but couldn't find it. "Aww, dang it, no." Be sighed.
"Heh heh, thought so." Firefox chuckled as she took out Fox's blaster from her pocket. She twirled it around with her finger on the trigger before handing it to Fox.
"Oh," Fox grabed the back of his neck with one paw. "Thanks." He finished, returning his blaster to it's holester.
Falco strood past them to the counter. The lady there, a young black panther, handed him the keys and piece of paper which had warnings about the debris from hurricane Earl.
"Y'all see this wind-blown debris? That was some storm, that there hurricane." Titanic said in a Southern accent on the way out.
"Why, yes I do." Denali told him, also in a Southern accent. They all laughed.
Falco unlocked the truck, and headed to the rental house.
Finally, they had pulled into the driveway of the big, grand house a little less than half a mile away from the ocean. The killer-hot sun beat down on everyone as they unpacked. It was getting dark by the time they were done, though.
"Welp, I'm gonna walk on the beach now. Anyone wanna come with?" Firefox asked.
"I'll come." Fox replied.
"Uh…..no, thanks." Titanic said.
"Anybody else? No? OK, me and Fox will be back soon. If we're not back in half an hour, call the police." Firefox explained.
"Fox and I." Denali corrected.
"That too." Firefox said as she and Fox went out the door. They walked down the long sidewalk and that led to the beach.
The first thing Firefox did once they got there, was run into the ocean, poncing on the crashing waves. Then, she looked up. A small waved laped at Firefox's flip-flops, as if the ocean was trying to lure her back to its playful water. But Firefox was looking at the sunset. The sky was a deep, dark purple color, while the clouds were dark red. "Wow!" Firefox exclaimed, as she steped backwards to see more of the beautiful sunset. She kept walking back, and didn't watch where she was going. Firefox bumped into Fox, who also was walking backwards, not watching where he was going.
Both of their pointed ears flicked up when they hit each other, and they both turned around at the same time. Their eyes met for just a second before they both looked down. Fox's paw shot up to grab the back of his neck. Firefox lifted her tail up, and shiffted Some sand into onto her foot.
"Sorry." They both said at the exact same time as they both looked up.
"You, uh, look nice tonight….." Fox said nervously.
"Uh, thanks. You…..you, too….." Firefox said.
"So, you want to….." Fox never got to finish his setence.
Firefox shot up, and kissed Fox right in the mouth.
Fox's green eyes widened, and he struggled to escape. But Fox soon closed his eyes as he wraped his arms around Firefox, and kissed her back. The waves crashed on the coast, and the red clouds grew brigh, perfecting the romantic first kiss.
Suddenly, Firefox triped into a bit hole that had been dug into the sand. Both foxes fell into the sandy trap. They sat there and laughed. The two love birds sat there in that hole in the sand, nose to nose, for about half an hour.
All of a sudden, Fox's stomach growled loudly, which broke the two apart.
Firefox laughed out loud.
"Sorry, that dosn't usually happen….." Fox said.
"You're kidding, right? Fox, your stomach is always growling." Firefox pointed out.
"Not true!" Fox aurgued.
Firefox raised an eyebrow and started at Fox.
"OK, OK, it's true." Fox admitted.
Firefox chuckled. "You're an open book, Fox." She said.
"Am I? Well you're a dimond; impossible to break, yet you shine bright like the sun itself." Fox told her.
Firefox blushed. "We should, uh, head back. They're probably wandering where we are." She said as she stood up.
Fox hopped out of the hole in the sand first, and then helped Firefox out. They both walked paw in paw up the pathway that led to the house. Suddenly, Fox stoped dead in his tracks.
Firefox looked up at onsee a hedgehog; a BLUE hedgehog, standing on the sidewalk up ahead.
Fox growled and bared his teeth.
"What? It's just a hedgehog." Firefox said. "Wearing shoes….." She added.
"That's the one who attacked me!" Fox told her.
Firefox squinted to get a closer look at the hedgehog. Fox was right, it was the sicotic hedgehog!
"C'mere, punk! I got a bone to pick with you!" Firefox as she advanced towards the hedgehog.
The crazy hedgehog just stood there for a moment, as Firefox raced towards him. Firefox could swear she heard him laugh. Then, the blue hedgehog ran forwards at a blinding speed….a blue blur.
"Whoa!" Firefox skided to a hault. The hedgehog was now standing next to her.
"Hey, I ain't gonna hurt you or anything. Relax." He said.
"Well, then why did you attack him?" Firefox asked, pointing at "him" (Fox, in case you didn't know.)
"Him? 'Him' has a name ya know!" Fox yelled as he walked up to them.
"Look, I didn't mean to hurt anyone, I was just protecting my home. Y'all just treded onto my land like it was a welcome mat! So, I grabed the first fox I saw; you, the fat one, and did what I had to do." The hedgehog explained.
“Hey, Fox is not that fat!” Firefox yelled.
The hedgehog looked disaprovingly at Fox’s tummy. “Erm, yeah-ha…..no, he is. I can help you with that. Ya know, run the extra mile, keep the blood flowing, lose some…..”
Firefox grabed the hedgehog by the neck before he could finish. “Listen hear, squirt. I got news for you. “Y’all” is fat, too.” Firefox poked the hedgehog’s tan colored stomach. “So get yo’ bright blue behind outta hear, and leave us alone!” She added.
The hedgehog freed himself from Firefox’s iron grip. “Whoa, whoa, whoa WHOA, NO touchy the Sonic!” He said.
“Oh, I’ll touchy the Sonic if I wanty to!” Firefox growled.
“Break it up you two!” Fox pushed them apart, in fear they might start hurting each other.
“FYI, she started it.” Sonic pointed at Firefox like she was something really disgusting.
“Why I’m gonna…..” Firefox began.
Fox held her back. “You’re gonna come home with me.” Fox said.
“Whoa, wait, why is the world spinning?” Sonic asked, who had suddenly gotten dizzy.
Firefox was about to comment, when Sonic suddenly colapsed on the sidewalk.
“Ooo, hedgehog stew tonight!” Firefox exclaimed.
“No! You know Denali won’t allow it.” Fox told her.
Firefox rolled her eyes as she followed Fox, who was carrying Sonic over his shoulder.
As expected, Denali screeched once she discovered Sonic had fainted. She carried him into the kitchen, and set him down. “Good thing I know how to handle Sonic’s dehydration/malnutrition!” She said as she quickly made a large bowl of cereal and a glass of water.
“Oh yeah? How?” Fox asked.
“Yeah. This ought to be interesting.” Titanic said.
“Totally!” Auto agreed.
“I’m eger to learn.” Falco said as he, and everyone else, gathered around Denali as she began her demonstration.
“OK, first, you open their mouth, and gently shove in the food or water. Firefox, do you remember what to do next?” Denali asked.
“Yeah. You gotta make ‘im chew.” Firefox replied as she took a bite out of her favorite fruit; the apple.
“Correct. Open. Close. Repeat. Then, you stroke a paw down along the throat, so they swallow it.” Said Denali, as she did that to a Sonic. “Finally, the last step, which is perhaps the most important.” Denali explained. “You have to slowly rub Sonic’s tummy, to make sure he digiests it, or he’ll wake up with a horrible tummy ache, and we do NOT want that to happen.” Denali concluded, completing the final step on Sonic.
Firefox grinned deviously and chuckled as she tossed her apple core behind her, which landed in the trash can perfectly.
“Firefox, don’t you even think about it!” Denali scolded, imagining Firefox skiping the final step on someone.
“I wasn’t! Honest.” Firefox aurgued.
“OK, but if a Fox wakes up with a tummy ache, aim blaming you.” Denali told her.
Fox steped back alarmingly. “Whaaat? No, I’d never do that to Fox!” Firefox exclaimed. But she had her fingers crossed behind her back…..
Suddenly, Sonic sat up, coughing violently. “What happened? Where am I?” Sonic demanded.
“Shh, it’s ok. Just sit down and eat some cereal.” Denali whispered, handing over the cereal.
“Wait, where’s Ash?” Sonic asked.
"Whom?" Denali asked.
Sonic whistled. An acuall el chupacabra with dragon wings, spike, and horn's all over flew in through an open window.
"What in the world…..?" Was everyone's response.
The chupacabra (Ash) walked over to his master, and whined.
Denali bravely steped up to the beast, scratched him behind the ear, and then gasped. "You pour thing! You're all skin and bone!" She exclaimed.
Sonic had fainted again, but Denali was bust fixing something for Ash. "Each of you, take turns doing what I did. I got Ash." Denali explained. "And don't forget the last step!" She added before practicly disapearing into the refrigerator.
Firefox joined her sister in geting some food for the poor chupacabra.
Ash ate everything they gave him, and then begged for more.
"Wow. We acually found a creature that eats more than Fox." Firefox said.
"Tell me about it." Denali agreed, throwing Ash a pizza.
Ash gobled up the pizza in on bite, and looked at them hopefully.
"Here, this'll do it." Firefox tossed Ash s big chocolate cake from the freezer.
"Wait! Dogs aren't supposed to eat chocolate!" Denali yelled.
But it was too late. Ash had allready eaten the whole cake.
"This isn't a dog." Firefox pointed out.
"Let's hope he dosn't get sick. Hey, look, I think Ash is finally full!" Denali exclaimed as she pointed to Ash, who was retreating to the livingroom. Ash lay down on the couch, with his hed on a pillow.
Denali smiled, and walked over to him.
"Finally." Firefox whispered as she joined them.
Denali knealt down by Ash, and began to pet him. Ash lifted his paw up so Denali could rub his belly. "My word, poor thing, you look like you havn't eaten in weeks! Well, there's plenty of food here, and you're always welcome." Denali said lovingly, taking an extreme liking to the seemingly frienly beast. Or, at least, she thought he was friendly. For suddenly Ash leapt up and ran outside to the front yard.
Denali looked out the window first, before steping out onto the deck. Ash was hiding beneath a bush near the road, growling at barking at a group of animals walking down the street. Chupacabras normally attack and eat those who invade their territory, but thankfully Ash was full, so he didn’t hurt anyone. He troted back inside, and panted up at Denali.
“Ash, no! Don’t attack them, they’re just passing through. And if you’re hungry, come and tell me.” Denali scolded.
Ash followed her upstairs to the kitchen; his happy emotion remained unchanged.
“Yo, Denali? What do you think we should do with this dude?” Auto asked, motioning to the unconscious Sonic.
“Uhm, let’s all carry him to a bed, and let him rest.” Denali suggested.
Everyone did just that, then went back upstairs to watch a movie; Tornado Vally. Soon, Firefox’s and Denali’s family showed up, who were also vacationing here. Four little fox boys (Zip, Dexter, Kristopherson, and Jacob) ran around the house excitedly as their parents unpacked their stuff from the cars. Zip (age four) and Dexter (age six) were the adorable kids of Draco (the sisters’ older brother) and Kairi. Kristopherson (age four) and Jacob (age three) were Dax’s and Amber’s (a sister of Firefox and Denali) kids.
Little Dexter ran up to Fox, yelling: “Uncle Fox, Uncle Fox!” He hugged Fox tightly around the middle. Even though Fox wasn’t his uncle, Dexter still called him that. A look of puzzelment acuppied Dexter’s little face. “Um, did my arms get smaller? Because I used to be able to wrap my arms all the way around your tummy, Uncle Fox. Or maybe is it your tummy has gotten bigger…..Why is that?” Dexter asked.
“That’s because Uncle Fox eats doughnuts for breakfast.” Firefox pointed out as she walked by with a tray of fruit to set on the table.
“Not true! I had cereal for breakfast yesterday.” Fox aurgued.
“Yeah, because we couldn’t get to the doughnuts in the car.” Firefox said.
“Even so, that dosn’t affect anything.” Fox continued.
Dexter’s eyes had been growing wider. He gulped. “I have doughnuts for breakfast sometimes!“ Dexter exclaimed. Dexter put his small paws on his equally small stomach, and groaned. “Dad?!” He yelled as he ran to his father.
Firefox and Fox listened to Dexter ask his dad if he should quit eating doughnuts all together.
“Great. Now you did it.” Fox said.
“Me? I’m not the one who eats seven doughnuts for breakfast.” Firefox told him,
Fox was about to protest, but was enterupted by Denali. “Stop it you guys! Geez, dajavoo! Firefox, Fox is not that fat. He…..is slightly overweight, but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed. Stop aurguing about the same thing over and over!” Denali scolded.
“Slightly? Try way over…..” Firefox began.
“Stop it!” Denali yelled.
“Way over what?” Fox asked. To make himself seem more threating, Fox attempted to point his blaster at Firefox, but he could not find it.
“Looking for something?” Firefox asked, holding up the blaster.
“How did you…..” Fox’s voice trailed off before he could finish.
Denali snatched Fox’s blaster out of Firefox’s paws, and handed it to Fox before walking away to the diningroom.
The rest of the evening went by uneventful. They all played cards ‘till late, and then went to bed.
****
Firefox woke up at seven fifty seven, and headed all the way upstairs to the kitchen. Denali was standing by the sink, pouring some redish liquid into a tiny glass.
Fox was also up, Firefox realized. He was lying on the couch, asleep.
Firefox turned back to Denali. “What’s up?” She asked, ignoring the fact Denali had smiled devously at her.
“Nothing. I’m just giving Fox some medicine. Says he woke up with a tummy ache.” Denali replied.
Firefox’s ears twitched nervously. “Darnit.” She whispered.
“What’s the matter?” Denali asked.
“Uh, um, heh-heh, I didn’t think it would acually work……” Firefox began.
“What? Wait, you didn’t try that survival technique on Fox, and forget the last, most important, step, did you?” Denali asked.
“Err, in my defense, I swear, I didn’t think it would work!” Firefox replied
“Fire!” Denali exclaimed, using her “scolding” nick name for her sister.
Firefox ignored her, and sat on a chair next to the couch Fox was on. “Fox, I am so sorry, really I am. I was just experimenting…” Firefox explained.
Fox snickered, clearing holding something from from Firefox.
Firefox raised an eyebrow. “What’s so funny?” She asked.
“Your head.” Fox replied.
“Huh……?” Firefox put a paw on her head to find a dollop of whiped cream on her forehead.
Fox and Denali both laughed. Firefox laughed too, and then tackled Fox. “What was that for?” She asked.
“Let me just tell you one thing; I was not asleep downstairs last night.” Fox told her.
“Whaaat?” Firefox looked confused.
“Fox knew you’d be tempted to give him a tummy ache as pay back, and he stayed awake to confirm that. Then, he came and told me, and we both put whiped cream on your head.” Denali explained.
“Yeah, then we both faked this little “misfortune” so you’d admit it. So, I think it’s safe to say, we fought you red handed!” Fox exclaimed.
“Yeah, I see. You do know I’ll probably plan a surprise attack, don’t you?” Firefox asked. Fox blinked. “Or maybe I won’t. But maybe I will! Probably not. Unless I do. Which might not happen. Or will it?” Firefox added,
"Yeah right." Fox told her.
"Don't think I won't try….." Firefox was interupted by a loud crashing noise coming from the cupboards.
Denali rushed back in the kitchen, and opened a cabinet. Ash, acompanyed by his partner in crime, Jinx; was hiding in there, eating cookies Jinx had riped out of the package.
"Ahh! Ash, Jinx! Get out of there!" Denali exclaimed. The mischevious pets stayed put. "Cats can't eat chocolate, they'd get sick." Denali said as she pulled Jinx out by the scruff of his neck. "Chupacabra…..well, can eat chocolate, but not a lot of it because they'd get too far and not be able to fly." Denali tried to scoot Ash out of the cabinet. Ash growled and backed up.
"I wouldn't do that, if I were you."
It was Sonic. He was standing at the top of the stairs. He darted over to the middle of the living room. "Ash, get over here. Now." Sonic commanded.
Ash reluctantly steped out of the cabinet, and troted over to his master.
"Hey, you're up! How are you feeling today, Sonic?" Denali asked.
"Hungry. You have any food?" Sonic said as he patted Ash on the head.
"Oh, yeah. What do you want? Cereal? A poptart maybe?" Denali asked.
"Got any wheat bagels and low-fat cream cheese?" Sonic looked around hopefully.
"Oh yeah, here." Denali got out a bag of bagels and some light cream cheese.
While Denali prepared her own breakfast, oatmeal, Sonic ate his breakfast at one of the diningroom tables which was isolated from the main table, near the stairs. Ash lay beneath Sonic's chair, chatching any crumbs that fell from the table.
Firefox had turned around to fix her own breakfast, while Fox joined Sonic at the smaller table. Fox opened his mouth to talk, but Sonic enterupted him.
"Lemme guess, you want some running classes from moi, so you can impress her." Sonic pointed to Firefox's back.
Fox squinted and turned his head slightly to the right. "Ooo, you're good." He said.
"I know." Sonic grinned. "OK, training starts tomarrow. Bright and early." Sonic explained.
"Right. Thanks." Fox said as he got up from the table.
"And, for the record, today's the last day in allowing you to eat junk food." Sonic paused. "So, do with that what you will. I don't care if you don't eat anything, or everything. Just nothing past midnight." Sonic finished.
Fox opened his mouth to ask a question.
"And that includes poptarts. No more after today." Sonic answered.
"Hiya Uncle Fox!"
Fox turned around. Dexter was standing at the top of the stairs.
"Oh, yeah, and are you feeling any better Uncle Fox? I was on my way to my mom and dad's room to change, when I over heard Denali saying that you have a tummy ache." Dexter asked.
"Don't worry, Dex. He's fine. It was all just a scam to frame moi." Firefox told him.
"What she said." Fox agreed.
"I knew it, I just knew it! I thought Auntie Firefox seemed suspicious, after I saw her out in the game room last night." Dexter smiled to himself.
"Am I missing something?" Sonic asked.
Firefox and Denali looked at each other.
"Shall I explain?" Denali asked her sister.
"Knock yourself out." Firefox answered.
"OK, let's help you get filled in, Sonic. So, yesterday, I showed everyone how to save a dehydrated/malnurished animals life (a.k.a; you.) Firefox got the idea of giving Fox a tummy ache by neglecting the last step, since she adores teasing him. Well, Fox knew that, so, just to be able to get back at her, he "fell asleep" on the couch, a vunerable spot. I acually hid in the room to see for myself. After Firefox had gone to bed, I came out of hiding to come up with a plan (with Fox) to make Firefox admit it. So, today, Fox faked a tummy ache, and lo and behold, he got her." Denali finished.
"Wow. Intresting technique." Sonic said.
"Wow what?"
It was Falco, who'd come upstairs with Auto and Titanic.
"Do I really have to explain it again?" Denali asked.
"I'm just kiding. I overheard." Falco replied.
"Yeah. Nice job, man!" Auto high-fived Fox.
"Indeed. Ah, the sweet smell of forbidin love." Titanic smiled.
"What?" Firefox and Fox asked at the same time.
"Nothing." Titanic replied.
"I'm begining to think they're on to something….." Firefox whispered to Fox.
"I know." Fox agreed.
