It's not that Cammy expected her wounds and new scars to matter to her Admiral Vandelys, or anyone who TRULY cared about her, but the confirmation is nice to have. Vandelys admits to his worry, admitting that's the reason he focuses so much on work. But BOY HOWDY has the poor man been through an emotional roller-coaster the past couple days of the campaign.

I actually had this sketched out before last night's events and had to change some things, seeing as Cammy is now technically missing fingers on that hand right now.
