I read that some eat meat occasionally. I guess I was wrong?

Iguanas actually eat ANYTHING that is put in front of them. Eating anything other than the correct vegetables is not healthy for them.

Don't give them apples, either. It is the same reason why we do not eat the cores: Arsenic poisoning. One seed alone is enough to kill a human.
