The Genetic Reconfiguration System, or Genesys, that Eugene possesses allows him to assume the form of sixteen different aliens, each with their own unique genders, personalities and abilities. The device keeps his own consciousness and personality running in tandem with the form he assumes, allowing him to still retain his own will. This not only ensures that he is able to control and master the forms he takes on in an incredibly short time span, but prevents any sort of shock the user of the Genesys might experience when turning into an entirely new species. The aliens shown here are as follows:
DREADSTING
The alien known to Eugene as Dreadsting is an insectoid alien with, as the name implies, a nasty sting. Their poison is capable of melting just about anything, and can be both injected or ejected depending on the necessity. While they don't have compound eyes as would be expected of an insectoid species, their four eyes are capable of independent movement, and see the world in infrared to better detect prey.
CASTAMOLD
The alien known to Eugene as Castamold is one of many species whose abilities were genetically engineered. Due to a declining birth rate, Castamold's species made her and her peers capable of cloning themselves several times over, so that breeding would not be an issue. This does come with its own drawbacks, however, as the more clones she produces, the more amorphous the clones and the original being become. This can be rectified by recombining with each other, as her biomass will be able to restabilize itself.
TRAPROOT
The alien known to Eugene as Traproot is a rare breed of plant-like alien, a Phytosapien from the planet Phytos, that can grow parts of its own body at a rapid rate when exposed to soil. As its name implies, it can detach parts of its own body to leave behind dangerous traps, such as spore pods or snare traps. When this occurs, Traproot may need to root itself into the ground to absorb enough nutrients to regrow the parts it has lost.
OMEGA
The alien known to Eugene as Omega is a bit of an enigma. No such species has ever been recorded to exist, and what clues exist of his origin suggest that he is an amalgam of several different species. Whatever his origin may be, Omega is the most powerful of Eugene's transformations all around, capable of extreme feats of strength and speed, as well as bearing a level of cunning and intellect beyond even the smartest of sapient creatures. He has even shown a lesser ability to bend reality and shatter barriers between dimensions. His power is difficult to control, however, meaning that Eugene only becomes Omega in the most dire of circumstances.
