The Restoration Auxiliary Team!

A little Sonic fan project of myself and my good friend Mynder, the Restoration Auxiliary Team (Or RATs) is a parallel AU of the mainline Sonic IDW comic series, following a semi-independent cell of the Resistance/Restoration that serves as rear echelon and/or support for the main body. While Sonic and his friends are fighting in the frontlines, the RATs are holding the flank. Stationed in the arid town of Keystone, they keep the peace from Eggman aboard the RATs Nest, a captured Egg Carrier.

The hero of this story is Lyka, a boisterous and cheerful stoat who aspires for nothing less than to be a hero. Though a little dense and prone to causing property damage, her heart is in the right place, wanting to help all those who can't help themselves.

But are strong convictions and a good haymaker good enough to face against the tyranny of Dr. Eggman? Not if one of his lieutenants, Ebony the Hare, has anything to say about it.
