Chipmunk + Chicken gryphon. I'm arse at naming hybrids. I'm sure someone has done this combo before so if you want to make one too: have at 'er.
Used the "bird-front, mammal-rear" idea of a classic gryphon, but used the aforementioned alternatives to the eagle+lion classic. I wanted to retain the side-stripes and "cheek pouch" traits from the rodent - deciding on repeating the stripe colors on the folded wings, and figured "why not use the wattle like a stretchy forage pouch" that way it also doubles as an inflatable display organ like the gular skin on a frigatebird. Also, fun fact, a male chipmunk is called a "buck".
