So I recently got into the Sherlock Hound series! I didn’t realize I was basically sleeping on what turned out to be a super fun and interesting furry anime!!!! It’s made by a lot of the same people from Studio Ghibli.
This piece in particular is a redraw of some art from the series. I’ve been needing to practice more with composition and backgrounds. I did a little bit of cheating with the lanterns, just drawing a single one the duplicating and transforming them. For me, the main focus of the drawing was still Mr. Hound himself !!!
