Admiral Reef, the Sunken Navarch
I heard long ago sail the admiral great
His fearful reign spanned the ocean sway
He calls himself the navarch of the sea
And his rule was only tyranny.
I heard the navarch fear when he’s gone
His grand empire will befell and forlorn
He searched the sea for the cursed coin
He would get rid of his mortal coil.
I heard the navarch, he has a daughter
Her mind was bright and warm was her heart
She sank her father and his cursed crew
The admiral drowned in the ship she blew.
I heard the daughter, she split the coin in three
And hid them well so the sea could be free
She sails far to the beacon of stone
And there she lived her life alone.
I heard afar the admiral still sail
Made of coral from the depth he fell
He seeks the relic that once was whole
…
He seeks his daughter to grant her woe
Admiral Reef, the Navarch of the sea, the coral is now angry and has become a villain. I finally drew a simple background for once, and… It looks mid, I guess. Well, this is the second bad guy that I drew in my own dnd world, enjoy! ( Also, who here enjoy poetry? anyone?)

That's a badass origin story and family drama. I personally love the background; the night sky, flaming destruction and lighting on the boats. I already said that the character's story is great, but the rhyming - ugh, there are great verses, but they don't rhyme in all spots

That's just a very quick snipet that I could think, but it's really hard to start changing someone else's writing without buthering it and changing some of it's tone. I have used wordhippo.com for checking my own rhymes.
