The mighty dragon fought with all he got, but unfortunately the villain had a pair of hypno goggles ready. Once he got the dragon to wear them he surrendered. Now Silver is a mindless brute grunt for the villain. Reboot could have given him powers to resist it, but every super hero needs a weakness, don't you think?
