A Drink for the Mind
Misty was having a good time in Sinnoh.
After weeks of battling against multiple trainers that started their adventure, the water-type trainer was glad to finally have some time off. As she also wanted to be with someone, Misty talked with some of her friends to see who was in the region. To her surprise, one that replied to her message was Dawn, an old friend of hers that she knew thanks to Ash and Brock. After talking for a while, they agreed on reuniting in Snowpoint City as she was traveling there.
She was eager to see her again and talk about their latest ventures, either the trainers they found or how they were doing in general. Upon arriving at the snowy city, she was received by the blue-haired gal, who told her she reserved a special cabin for them to stay during those days. Although Misty was happy to see her friend, she noticed her acting a bit different, having a stiff pose and not talking much. Not wanting to be too invasive, she linked it with her training non-stop as there was a Gym Leader in the city.
One thing she talked about was the things she found during her adventure, from the variety of Pokémon in her team to the sweet things like candies and tea, even mentioning that she was going to serve some of it to her. Upon arriving, Misty put her bags on the couch while Dawn walked to the kitchen. “Sit down, I’ll prepare some tea for us,” the blue-haired gal said calmly. That was the first time since she arrived there that Misty saw Dawn acting more like who she was.
As she sat down on the table, the water-type trainer looked around, noticing that her friend had the place in order and that she put her badge case, bag and Poke Balls on the table that was in the living room. What caught her attention was that while she counted 5 Poke Balls, only four were closed. Dawn mentioned that she caught some new Pokémon yet she never mentioned which ones. While she looked at the room, hoping to find the one that was out of their Poke ball, the blue-haired gal came with the drinks.
“Here, I hope you like it,” Dawn said calmly while pouring tea in Misty’s cup. She still had some doubts about the way her friend was acting, but once again, the water-type trainer remained silent and instead drank from her cup, an action that the blue-haired gal was glad to see. The taste of the drink was sweet and even after Misty finished her cup, Dawn filled it again.
Their moment together was a calm one, with the trainer talking about how good the tea was and how it would help anyone relax and be calm. At first, Misty thought that it was just a harmless thing, but while she was drinking her third cup, she started to feel groggy. “What…what kind of…tea…is this?” she asked. Her question was both related to the type of tea it was and also about why it was doing that to her.
“Just relax,” Dawn said while smiling. At that point, Misty deduced that her friend put something on her drink, but it was too late to do anything. She was in a calm state and was on the edge of falling asleep. To taunt her, the blue-haired gal even poured more tea in her cup, making her understand that she knew this was going to happen. In a last attempt, the short-haired gal tried to get up from the chair, only to fall down in the process. Before coming closer to her, Dawn laughed, enjoying to see her failed attempt at escaping. Not only was she aware about that reaction, but she was aware that things were going to end and she was looking forward to that. “Close your eyes.”
And just like that, the water-type trainer closed her eyes and fell into a deep state of calmness. She already regretted what she did and yet, there was nothing she could do. Misty continued to sleep, dreaming about a possible scenario where things ended well instead of being tricked by her friend. Her dream was interrupted by a voice that said a calm phrase.
“Open your eyes, dear.”
Upon hearing that calm voice, Misty did as told and was surprised to see what happened. Not only was she in a different room, but she was trapped in the coils of a Pokémon. She was more surprised to find that it was a strange-looking Lucario, one that had a tale and could talk. While he and Dawn talked, Misty attempted breaking free from the tight coils, but the Lucario quickly felt what she was doing and went closer to her.
“Hello, dear. Let me explain what is happening, we came here to give you the opportunity of a lifetime, something that you will love and cherish,” the hypnotic Lucario said before making her drink one last cup of tea that the blue-haired gal was holding. He was already confident about his own abilities, so that was mostly to taunt her. In all of his inductions, he always played with his victims and Misty wasn’t the exception. Once she finished the cup, the Lucario gave it to Dawn before he changed his eyes into those nice and hypnotic spirals. “Now, why don’t you stay calm and let me do my thing?”
Mist wasn’t fast enough to close her eyes as they locked themselves into the hypnotic eyes of the Lucario. She wasn't a stranger to hypnosis and yet, she quickly falls at the mercy of the Pokémon. This was also related to the tea, which was a normal one that Lucario added a special ingredient so Misty would not only fall asleep, but would also make her weaker against the powers of the hypnotic Lucario.
“Good girl, remaining silent and continuing to admire my hypnotic eyes,“ the Naga Lucario said in a calm yet dominant tone. Slowly, the water-type trainer stopped with her attempts at breaking free from the coils. Not only that, but those ideas related to resisting and trying to think about ignoring the hypnotic and tantalizing eyes and the ideas that the strange-looking Pokémon was indulging in her mind became stronger.
“I need to…need to…I…don’t know…what to do…” Misty said as her eyes started to mimic those hypnotic spirals. There was still one small attempt at resisting yet it was weaker. It didn’t matter if that was the tea or the Lucario’s eyes, the water-type trainer wasn’t going to get out of that hypnotic state…and a small part of her even wanted to stay like that forever.
“Someone like you should understand how good this is. Come on, don’t try to resist or deny it, you like this and something tells me you were yearning for this.” In a way, he wasn’t wrong. Misty was tired and was looking forward for a time to relax. She had other things in mind, but being hypnotized by a strange-looking Pokémon wasn’t part of her plans. Nonetheless, the short-haired gal finally let her guard down and started to come to terms with that strange, warm and enjoyable feeling that took over her.
The Naga Lucario chuckled the moment she saw that dumb grin on her face, the signal that she finally reached that point of no returning. The moment he found that Dawn was friends with one of the strongest Gym Leaders, in terms of mental strength, he was looking forward to that moment. It was faster than he expected and yet, the whole thing still was good for him and his servant. With that, he decided to give her the first command.
“Now I’ll uncoil you, I hope you understand your surroundings and do what I hope you consider the right thing to do,” just as he finished talking, the strange-looking Lucario was loyal to his word, liberating the water-type trainer from his coils. Just like he expected, Misty was in such a deep state of trance that she was doing as told, no longer having fear about the Pokémon nor having those thoughts about escaping or resisting. It was the end of another successful induction, but there was one last thing to do as the Naga Lucario turned around to see his most important servant. “For being such a good servant, this is your reward. Let me present you to your own personal maid, dear. I hope you like her.”
Of course, because of her trance state, she was going to love any treat from her master. It didn’t matter if it was a small sweet or her own personal servant, she was happy about it. This was also good for the Naga Lucario, he got a new slave, someone who would be as beneficial as the genie that was the former champion of the region and the Team Rocket grunt that became their secret agent. He was planning on getting more servants, but for now.
It was his time to reward his main slave with her new hypnotized maid.
