The idea for this drawing has been on my art list for ages, but I've never had the courage to tackle it until now.
I'm usually not a big fan of herbivore anthros, but for some reason I quite like anthro gazelles! Maybe it's the slender look and the amazing looking horns that give them such a unique look, not sure, but I still really like them!
It was also a good excuse to practice painting clouds, I still struggle with them at times.
The attire and jewelry were based on traditional Amazigh ones, though of course they are not 100% accurate.

On a side note, I've not been super active these days for three reasons:
1) I'm still a bit burned out from the Drawtober, drawing so much really drained me!
2) I'm currently busy with a research project, so finding the time is hard.
3) I'm actually working on resuming my Shadi comic. I'm currently writing down the script, as many parts of the old ones were not leaving me satisfied. I plan on changing some parts of the intro sequence, adding more context, and then I will proceed from where I abandoned it. Still, it will take a while.

Indeed, anthro gazelles have some inherent gracefulness and slenderness in them that makes them natural candidates for forming part of a noble class. In fact, the word gazelle is from Arabic where it can also mean a 'greaceful girl', and further from the stem غ- ز- ل (gh-z-l) that refers to being delicate, as far as I can record. It makes it even doubly appropriate : 3
Also, bonus for including some jewellery inspired by Amazight clothing. I always like anything based on folklor or history
