So I made art of Matt a while ago, but being very ambitious, did it in a realistic style. In the end, I am not happy looking back on how it turned out, as the anthro elements just felt shoehorned in on a normal human. Perhaps in the future I'll try drawing a more "realistic" anthro character - but recently I tried drawing Matt in a more toony style, and in traditional first. I really like the result, feels a lot more natural. Have a few things that I want to work on in regards to coloring these in illustrator after the traditional drawing process, but overall, he looks a lot more like an anthro dog, where everything actually works together well.
In submitting to my open secret, yeah, Matt, at least appearance-wise, is rather similar to me - and from that perspective, though I doubt I'll ever be cool enough to pull off a backwards baseball cap irl. xD
