Shi-Shi Thrivius Myth/Folk Tales: The Shi-Shi and the Fish
A long time ago, long before you and me or even slings lived a young
person whose only known now as Sol-Folfs. Sol-Folfs was a large
Robustus who lived with others near the sea. One day he walked into the
water and up came a Fish. The Fish was a beautiful creature who came
back to him as he walked down into the water every day. Slowly their bond
grew and they became seemingly inseparable but the other fish and
Shi-Shis eventually started to leave while both stayed together. But one day
the Fish didn’t come back, he ran and ran then swam and swam but he
couldn’t find the fish.
Until he found their dead body next to a washed up beast trying to devour
their limp, lifeless body. Solf-Folfs was sent into a rage very seen in us as
he smashed the beast apart with rocks nearby and we all know how it went.
The beast laid there lifeless as our hero wailed over their love’s corpse.
Soon both were out in deep water as he dived deep and deeper to the
furthest he could go. The Fish’s body was buried deep under the sea and
some say it’s still there even today.
Solf-Folfs’s love didn’t drown though. He soon came back to the beach, day
after day, year after year, until the end of his life. He stood above the poor
fishes who were peaceful and damned those who weren’t. No fish was
eaten who was under his watch as more and more came to him and more
became peaceful. Eventually other Shi-Shis took notice and protected the
fishes as well even as he was dying. He died where he met that Fish.
Others came to bury him where now both lay, under the ocean together
forever.
The others never quit their righteous endeavor as the shores are protected
and cared for by us as plants grow and fish swim and play forever more.
