You did a particularly good job on that cat I have to say, and the work as a whole, looks lovely.

Details indeed! I love all the little tidbits that really make this piece a whole. The deer outside, the lion kind picture and necklace(?), the socks drying on the register, and others that are just as lovely <3 I love her facial expression and body posture as well!

This is not a deer, it's some kind of dragon/lizard creature - you can see a picture of it on the cover of one of the books. I suppose that's the most important detail here...

No, I'm pretty sure the one outside is a deer. But it would be totally rad if there were a dragon in his front yard. n_n

Take a closer look at high-res version and you will see that creature's tail ;).
I still might be wrong, but... well...

OMGOSH I am so slow to notice someone had to point out my image on the wall. I feel flattered and undeserving. I adore this piece, the lighting, the use of color and pervasive sense of atmosphere just pull together to make something truly magical and lingering. Beyond this still is the expressiveness of your faces, you capture a certain essence I cannot put into words, but by and far you draw some of my favorite feline faces in the fandom. Your work shines with a genuineness, a sense of soul and dreaminess.

This is spectacular. "the devil is in the details" is right - the fur texture is one thing, but the hi-def makes it obvious just how much attention you've paid to the lighting. It's really beautiful - the motes in the light through the window, the reflection of the numbers from the digital clock... "+fave" has not been this accurate in a long time: This is pretty much my favourite snep picture I've seen!

And sleep is not coming. Pleading to whatever deity you believe in, please, please let me sleep. I beg of you, if I could just get some sleep. Rest my mind. Breath. Tomorrow is coming all too soon, and this night is both far too long and not long enough.

I think we've all been there, and you've captured it fully in this piece. It fits so many elements of my life that you could almost, just almost have been painting me. I think we all find elements in such imagery to correspond with our lives; however, this...is something more. It's an essence. I applaud you in your work and will be sure to watch you from now on.
