First and foremost, this is not my fursona. This is my avatar. Allow me explain.

I didn't want to show my fursona. Never do. Just don't ask (I've already given the reason why several times). So a long while ago I came up with the idea to just use a character in my place. You see, in 3 days (holy shit 3 days!?), will be my 6th (official) year of being in the fandom, and I still don't even have an avatar that I can call mine yet. But that's my fault since I don't want to upload my fursona.

While sitting in the plasma center, waiting for my turn, I came up with a character, or at least its features. I don't know what to call it, but this character is a mix between a fox (mostly the body), a rat (mostly the tail, hands, and feet), a bunny (mostly the eyes and eyes, which are a tad bit larger), and a cat (maybe not so much). Since I didn't want to take on a whole new name, I simply decided to call it Avatar. Then I jokingly called it Avatar Zex. I also gave it a few colorings and styles, but for the most part this character is me. Thus, Avatar Zex was born.

Ironically, Avatar Zex is much closer to me, or at least who I am at this exact moment, than my fursona. Not just in looks, but in personality as well. Thus I decided to definitely keep the Avatar name.

And for the record, you would simply call him Zex. Not "Avatar" or "Avatar Zex". That's more of an implication.

I wanted a great pic, but can't draw. I tried my hand at it, which I may upload sometime (not sure if I should), but it's crap. Then while hanging out with a friend, and seeing my attempt, he attempted a drawing as well. SOO much better than mine. *glee*

I'll attempt to color it sometime.

Now I finally have a character! A face behind the name Zexidous.
