So for years on various online media and platforms I've used the alias of "SgtSnake" or "RealSgtSnake" as years ago when I was a young teenager I was in a local scale modeling club, making old military vehicle models and showing off techniques and styles, and many of the people there were older military veterans, with some as young as Post 9/11 that served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and going all the way back to Korea. Everyone in this group had a nickname, normally going back to a nickname given to them in their service. When they saw me they asked me what my interests are outside of making models. At the time I was also big into herpatology (study of reptiles) and one of thr older guys said the suggestion of Sergeant Snake. They were basically all in agreement and the rest is history.

Well today, after 3 years, 2 months, and 3 weeks of service, through mud, snow, rain, and scorching heat, over hills, dales, and dunes, after hours of studying for boards, and going from a round runner, to assistant Gunner, and now ammo team chief. I have been promoted out of the rank of Specialist, to Sergeant.
