"Soldiers, you have made me extremely proud, you have decorated your eagles with immortal glory. You will be rewarded with joy, and it will be enough for you to say: "I was in Austerlitz", for the people to respond: "There goes a brave man." "
-Napoleon Bonaparte congratulating his troops after achieving a crushing victory against the Russian-Austrian forces in the famous battle of Austerlitz, which occurred in 1805.
This is a drawing I made of my characters Jeff and Meryl, who are characterized as the genius French military and political strategist Napoleon Bonaparte, along with his wife and platonic love Joséphine de Beauharnais, especially in their versions of the recent movie "Napoleon ".
In truth, the life of Napoleon Bonaparte has always seemed interesting and admirable to me, that is, how he went from being a young man of humble origins to being a soldier with enormous skill in planning effective attacks on the battlefield, to be the absolute emperor of almost all of Europe and part of Africa.
As for the Napoleon film, I was amazed by the magnificent production of the legendary director Ridley Scott (Known for the "Alien" saga, and "Gladiator" as his work Opus Magnum), along with the incredible performance of Joaquín Phoenix (Known for his role as the Roman emperor Lucius Aurelius Commodus and the "Joker" of DC Comics)
On the other hand, I am really satisfied with how this drawing turned out xD
PS: Now I'm realizing that the battle of Austerlitz took place on December 2, and since today happens to be that day, I think this drawing is a good tribute for the 218th anniversary.

"Soldados, ustedes me han enorgullecido enormemente, han decorado sus águilas con una gloria inmortal. Serán recompensados con alegría, y para ustedes será suficiente con decir: "Yo estuve en Austerlitz", para que la gente responda: "Ahi va un valiente". "
-Napoleón Bonaparte felicitando a sus tropas tras conseguir una aplastante victoria ante las fuerzas Ruso-Austriacas en la famosa batalla de Austerlitz, ocurrida en el año 1805.
Este es un dibujo que hice de mis personajes Jeff y Meryl, quienes están caracterizados como el genio estratega militar y político francés Napoleón Bonaparte, junto a su esposa e amor platónico, Joséphine de Beauharnais, más que todo en sus versiones de la reciente película "Napoleón".
En la verdad, la vida de Napoleón Bonaparte siempre me ha parecido interesante e admirable, es decir, como pasa de ser un joven de origen humilde que logra pasar de ser un militar con una enorme destreza para planificar ataques efectivos en el campo de batalla, a ser el emperador absoluto de casi toda Europa y parte de África.
En cuánto a la película de Napoleón, quede maravillado con la magnifica realización del legendario director Ridley Scott (Conocido por la saga "Alien", y "Gladiador" como su obra Opus Magnum), junto a la increíble actuación de Joaquín Phoenix (Conocido por su papel como el emperador romano Lucio Aurelio Cómodo y el "Joker" de DC Cómics)
Por otro lado, estoy realmente satisfecho por como termino siendo resultado de este dibujo xD
PD: Ahora me estoy dando cuenta de que la batalla de Austerlitz se dió en un 2 de Diciembre, y como casualmente hoy es ese día, creo que este dibujo es un buen tributo de aniversario numero 218.
En fin gente, no olviden dar a favoritos si esto les gusto, dejar un comentario para sugerencias o criticas constructivas; Y si es la primera vez que te encuentras con uno de mis trabajos, agradecería mucho tu apoyo con un "watch", ya que esto me motiva a seguir trayendo mas contenido para ustedes.
