So, I figured I'd give this guy a proper reference, since his design was being fairly inconsistent over time and the way I saw him in my head also changed a bit.
To those not in the know, this is one of my current ongoing D&D characters, Hauratirl the dragonborn barbarian. Came quite a long way from his original Heroforge miniature, but I am very happy with how he looks now.
He has the folk hero background and is something of the team mom of our group, trying his best to keep the chaos that is his companions in check, those companions being a capitalistic conjuration wizard, a moody teenager pyromaniac half-elf sorcerer and an ever curious gnomish artificer. He has the chef feat to make some very delicious (and stat boosting) food and is actually a pretty gregarious and affable fellow if you don't give him a reason to whack you over the head. He is actually quite charismatic for a barbarian.
This sheet also shows some of his particularly important possessions, magical and mundane.
His main weapon, a vicious greataxe.
A periapt of wound closure around his neck, which is pretty important for him to get back into the fight quickly, as he is pretty much the easiest to hit out of the entire party and always on the front line.
His outfit is actually clothes of mending, staying clean and self-repairing throughout all the adventuring.
And a simple, multicolored scale bracelet, which was a gift by a group of children to each of the group members after helping save their town. While a completely mundane item, it holds great sentimental value and he has it on almost all the time.
His face/head design changed quite a bit since his original pictures and is heavily based on
badtusk's interpretation on some images. His outfit also borrows from the same sources and I feel it is a lot fitting than his original miniature (since Heroforge at the time didn't really have that great non-armor looking outfits). I did keep one gauntlet for fashionable asymmetry.
Also, he has a navel since in our DMs homemade setting we're playing in, Dragonborn (alongside some other races) are less their own, big race and rather are born on rare occasions from human (or sometimes elven/dwarven) parents, similar to aasimar and tieflings. Thus it made sense for him to have a navel (but no nips).
Anyway, I am very happy with this new look for him, and the artist was a pleasure to work with!
