Just a little fan character I made relating to MLP Friendship is Magic for fun!

I wanted to give the gals of Ponyville a fun male playmate to tease and have fun with. (hopefully)

Just keep him away from flammable objects, and Rarity's fabric shop especially!

Name: Burnout

Gender: Male

Pony Type: Earth

Personality: Cocky, impatient, playful, sarcastic, prideful, and flirty.

Home: Cantermento

Interests: Being an athlete and a show off, Burnout can run incredibility fast on open land, and his agility skills with a ball as earned him the title of record holder for the most ball bounces on his head in Cantermento. He likes to showoff his custom made fireworks in the outskirts of town to amaze and dazzle the townsfolk.

Likes: Sugary Pastries, Showing off in front of the lady ponies, flirting, PILFS, racing, napping, playing pranks, honorable actions during sporting events, sticking up for his friends in times of distress, taking a bath and swimming.

Dislikes: Cheaters, salads, other male ponies showing off, working, doing missions, listening to long lectures about fire safety, bookworms, wearing his magical cuffs, not napping, long periods of inaction.


Relationships:

Rainbow Dash- She and Burnout have a close rivalry, at times pitting their skills against each other whenever they have a spare moment. Their insatiable love for pranks brings them even closer as they love to tease the other ponies at times. Though Burnout hates to admit it he does have a bit of a crush on her and cares about her alot.

Applejack- Though at first she saw him as untamed and wild she grew to respect him after she watched Burnout run back during a close race to help Rainbow Dash after a nasty spill she endured while pulling off a complex trick to out maneuver him, costing him his victory as other racers crossed the finish line.

Now She sees him as a potential rival as well. Burnout sees her as a worthy fellow athlete and respects her strength.

Rarity- She sees him as a ruffian and he sees her as uptight. But that doesn't stop him from flirting with her from time to time. This usually makes Spike jealous and steaming mad.

Fluttershy- Is too nervous to really say anything to him, so he doesn't really notice her. His talent to cause sparks and flames with his hooves scares her.

Pinkie Pie- Finds her to be insanely random and annoying and tries to avoid her when he can. But that still doesn't mean her antics doesn't make him giggle sometimes.

Twilight Sparkle- The massive field/forest fire he caused outside of Ponyville still makes her suspicious of him, and doesn't trust him as of yet.

Abilities/Talents: He can cause sparks to shoot from his hooves when they smack into each other or onto a rough solid surface, thus allowing dry wood or flammable objects to catch aflame. It seems only Rainbow Dash can counter his accidental wildfires.

Mission: They Major of Cantermento wishes Burnout to share the region's fireworks with all of Aquestria to show off the beauty of these loud and flashy creations.

Occupation: Fireworks Organizer and lights the Giant Torch just as predecessors before him during the Winter Festival in Cantermento. He and his family are also entrusted to keep the great grass lands and forests of the region from over growing to maintain balance in the region. Though it is a violent action, it is necessary since these Earth ponies do not possess magic to control the growth of wildlife.

Backstory:

The wild Burnout was born in a small village far away surrounded by expanding fields of grassland and neighboring forests. Since birth he's been wearing the bracers of his late father to help control the sparks produced by his hooves. He was the last in his class to earn his cutie mark when in angry he caused a bully's mane to catch fire from a spark from his hoof when Burnout angrily stomped at him. He was never picked on since.

His current mission objective is to show off the magic and wonder of fireworks to the Ponies at Ponyville. But on his way, Burnout got sleepy and napped on his way to the festival. He suddenly woke up and realized he was almost late, so In a panic Burnout raced hard and fast, accidentally setting fire with his astounding ground speed, causing the fields and parts of the forest near Ponyville to catch flame, causing panic among the ponies.

Upon investigation Twilight and the other ponies struggle to control the blaze, though it would seem Ponyville was doomed, Rainbow Dash's quick thinking and powers to cause rain and control the weather drenched the burning field and forest. Burnout tried to assist but Applejack tackled him thinking he'd make it worse, the two wrestled and fought for a bit before they were separated by Pinkiepie and Rarity. After explaining this was no fault of his own and was simply an accident, Applejack showed restraint and calmed down.

For the damage he caused by his blunder, the Major of Ponyville forced Burnout to stay until all damages to the region has been repaid; considering the amount of damage he caused, he will be working in Ponyville for a very very long time! Though Twilight Sparkle and many of the ponies had objections and had great worries about the potential chaos Burnout could cause, Princess Celestia allowed it to give Twilight a lesson in forgiveness and acceptance in new friends, also to give Burnout a new mission to learn how to show restraint and patience, and of course to continue his work in making fireworks for future celebrations in Ponyville.

Burnout has alot of friends to make but his main focus is just to prevent himself from being bored out of his mind!
