Alternate version of The little mermaid 2 in which Melody decides to disobey, escaping the family castle to explore the sea and learn more about her origins.
Unfortunately, the young girl was kidnapped by pirates who caught her in a fishing net that contained no fish and decided to hold her hostage until they docked at a port in Jamaica to sell her into slavery girl.
Poor Melody realizes that she would have done better to listen to her mother when she told her to forget her origins which she had been kept in the dark about for 12 years and now she's paying a high price.
