Asvander, son-of- Asrik, First Sentinel of the Dawn Spire in the Winderost. This is a re-draw of a character we meet in Skyfire: Book II of the Summer King Chronicles, and I'm ridiculously happy with how he came out. Slowly but surely I want to try redrawing the Summer King Chronicles characters with my...updated skillset? I guess? Haha. This image is from 2022 so obviously I'm erring on the side of "slowly."
Anyway, Asvander's family hails from the Ostral Shore, and the big, beefy, aggressive, warlike tribal gryfons to be found there are mostly based off of Stellar's Sea eagles in shape, if not in coloring ;D
