"Remember folks! To stay in line, follow my orders and laws and I won't have to sick the Brutebolds after you. Once viciously oppressed by the Scalebolds I decided to adopt them as they were practically groveling at my feet for help and a newfound leadership. Created by a now deceased dragon to fight back against the stars, they failed in their mission and were reduced to nothing short of scum. However, I have seen their potential as super-soldiers, but we have plenty of those already. So, I've decided instead to make them peacekeepers in the various sectors I control. Let it be small villages, megacities, the halls of my castle, and a few other places... Outfitted with power armor though of course, big heavy shields, and are near-immortal beings constantly backed up with my blessing of course. They're not as strong as an Alpha Fruit Kobold of course, but they were designed to fight gods. Sicking them on mortals just seems to be the right thing to do." ~Captain PiK
Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Today I bring you some information on the Brutebolds and it's... Once again surprising that I haven't really spoken about them. Also yes, a reminder that the setting does have its darker moments and it's meant to massively contrast with how Thomza does things. Captain PiK is an Overlord, and it's a reminder that he always feels like he's in control. Captain PiK might be working alongside one another, but they certainly don't agree with one another either. The Brutebolds are basically a police force that are all here for keeping the peace and be basically immortals and are like... "Judges" so to speak of areas where Captain PiK controls. I don't think I need much more elaboration than that, until next time folks, thanks for reading!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.
