Amalie was just introduced in my RP community. Details about her were a secret at first, so I haven't been posting a lot of details with my pics of her. It worked out well. I changed the her stripe pattern so many time (it's still not very consistent here) and redrew her over and over, so that this reference sheet looks nothing like I started out with. The only drawing that is exactly the same as on the original reference sheet is the pic showing her wing span. Oh wait, and the colored pic of just her head.
Amalie used to be a human cleric, but ended up in the body of a huge pterosaur. Turned out she was better at being a pterosaur than a cleric, so she's never tried to get back to her original form. Sometimes, the pterosaur instincts take over, which leads her to do inadvisable things, like try to eat anything that will fit in her beak.
Like many things I draw, the idea for Amalie came from a dream.
