In an endless run through a series of nightmares, Kayden tore matter with his claws, trying to break out into our world. The darkness pulled him in, not wanting to let go. The Universe expanded, throwing the beast further and further from reality.
I don't know how he could. Only a few are capable of such overcoming. And in the last push, having received terrible wounds, he nevertheless broke through into the world where the sun shone.
However, the Universe appreciated his efforts and generously rewarded him with a piece of itself - matter, which healed all his wounds. Matter that gave him new strength...
