Looks like Firnèn didn't even have time to react to what was happening to his body : he turned into an immobile statue on the spot, still smiling. All of his gear has been stolen, leaving the statue bare. Nothing remains of him but his stone body, forever a monument to his past life.
Here's an alternate version of the previous drawing because I'm starting to like drawing petrification. Enjoy ^^

Seems like Firnèn did not have a chance, shame about it but at the same time he looks pretty dang good as an immobile statue with that happy expression and the small bit of crack / weathering and also gives off a real dynamic pose that is sure to delight who ever claims him as yeah seems with all his gear gone he himself / itself is the only thing left to be claimed.
heh glad to see you are enjoying some petrification alternates as they can be so much fun to do and can give a nice unique spin on a drawing, great work on the cracks and the bit of gradient / shading along the finger wings it really adds to it!
