The commission for someone on DA known as RyukaInu-chan; a depiction, in my style, of her dragon, Azure the mighty. She only had a pencil drawing, so she wanted me to draw him and color him. I had some help from my gf,  rikukitty09, since she offered it. I gave her the specs and even gave her a copy of the file with the labeled color swatches. These gold tips were difficult but they came out amazing in the end. The beak was added, even with Ryuka's approval, since her drawing showed a muzzled that, to me, suggested something like it. She also drew the feet very bird like. So, being a Monster hunter fan, I took the beak idea from the Naruga Kuruga, and the back feet were designed after the Rathalos and Rathian feet. Feathers were new for me, since I've NEVER drawn feathers before, but I do have to say that these came out amazingly well. All in all, I had fun with dragon, more so than my usual dragons, since they tend to be my specialty. My gf says she hates drawing wings cause they're complicated...I don't see how, but then again, I started out drawing dragons before people. lol
