Basic rigging, I've learned rigging in general can mean a few different things over the years lol. Some include auto curving which kind of gets in the way, while others its.... sometimes not even attached full XD
Could ya explain a bit what ya mean by basic rigging? No IK bones? Or more shape keys?

It’s true — over time, rig systems can become more complex.
The one I use is based on Mixamo bones, with added controls, FK/IK switching, facial bones, and vagina or penis bones. Shape keys are not included as part of the basic service.
