"The Medieval Chainsaw" is a Chronoartifact that was found deep inside a then newly found cave near (REDACTED), Scotland in 1978. it seem to have been put there specifically to stay for a extremely long time, be randomly found by someone centuries in the future, and then be used for a rescue mission involving time travel.

Inside the cave was also found the eroded remains of a modified chainsaw and a two-barreled shotgun.

Here's the twist: it's believed the cave hasn't been entered for around 500 years. the painting itself is believed to have been made in the late 15th century.

On the paintings back excists a message written probably by the man depicted on the painting:

"HELP

I WAS SENT HERE BY A DEMON OR SOMETHING

I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 14 WINTERS

THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE

I MISS MY HOME

AND HAMBURGERS AND CORNCOBS

PLEASE!"

The board decided to take no initiave to attempt a rescue because of it's strict no time travel-policy. any attempt to send someone back in time to save him could lead to either a paradox or temporal conflict.
