I've been really into Heartleaf's The Delver's Guide to Beastworld D&D setting ever since it was released. So far I've played in three different Beast World games (one of 'em even got streamed!), so at MFF this year I decided to snag a few commissions of the characters I played.
This is Raine, a Monk who follows the Way of Mercy (but isn't afraid to throw down when people need saving). Growing up, he was a nervous kid full of anxiety and worry, until he came upon a traveling Monk who not only showed him the ways of inner peace, but helped him realize that much of his worries came from self-doubt and a lack of confidence. Years of training later, he's embraced the zen lifestyle and, after discovering how to forgive himself, expanded that to those around him. It also helped that learning martial arts gave him a huge boost in confidence and discipline. Now he journeys to spread that message to others, and kick ass in the process.
Hibbary did well showing this fox's agility and combat prowess. Yeah, he's typically the calm type, but when a threat makes itself known he's right there on the front lines, standing up to whatever might harm his companions.
